Who is excited for Christmas and Winter designs?! 🙋🏻♀️
I know we are just getting into fall, but we have already had lots of questions about our Christmas collection!
Our Christmas and winter designs are being released online on Monday (Sept. 16th) after debuting at @pinnersconf Texas this weekend.
But that’s not all! If you were here last Christmas, you may recognize the gorgeous fabric trees in this photo. They were made by our friends at @lalu_furniture and this year we have teamed up with them again to offer these on our website! The fabric trees will be available starting September 30th, so stay tuned for more information about those!
Here is the start of our cozy Christmas 2019 and the 1st of many custom garlands! Five garlands entwined to create this beauty that adorns our main beam in our home. We really saved some coin on this 13ft Diy project. We are getting our swag on y'all >>>>>bahahahaha🤣😂🤣😂 #farmhouselove#farmhousechristmas #diychristmasdecor

Little Monday night DIY project.🛠
I’ve been eyeing up a gorgeous 10ft pre-lit flocked tree for months, and nearly hit order 25 times. However, the logically side of my brain told me **thats definitely not in the budget, don’t do it**, and I actually listened, for ONCE🤪 but seriously why are Christmas trees so expensive!?
So instead I spent $40 on 5lbs of flocking from Amazon, used a mesh strainer and a spray bottle with water, and gave our 7.5ft tree a makeover. Waiting for it to dry before I fluff it some more, and do some touch ups, but soo happy with how it turned out.
Can’t wait to bring it up to the living room, get the lights strung, and decorate. 🎄

Hudson was my design consultant this weekend. As I was perched up the ladder, he directed me as I hung up the garlands. I’ve never hung anything on the kids windows in the 8 years that we’ve lived here. I went to @goodwillcolumbus to get the garlands and added ribbon from @menardshomeimprovement to finish the look. I still want to hang 2 more garlands in the backyard so we can enjoy them all winter long. For now the front is done! I’ll add twinkle lights and spot lights to bring the focus where I want it #happyholidays#garlands#diychristmasdecor#gahannaohio
Turns out I’m 100% that Grinch ✌🏽 Swipe to compare and let me know who did it better 😂
ICYMI, sharing a list of what you need to throw an ornament painting party over on WNW. I mentioned last week that I’m usually a tree after Thanksgiving person, but with it being so late this year & having all these new ornaments....🎄🎄🎄 My sweater is 40% off tonight with the code FAMILY

Decided to make this ultra-easy Filipino-themed Christmas decor for our front gate after dropping off the kids this morning. It took less than 10 minutes!
1. Bamboo poles (we have a stock of leftover bamboo poles in our basement)
2. Bolo knife
5. Festive ribbon
1. Measure how big you want your Christmas tree to be. Cut your bamboo pole to size. I split mine into two so it lays flat on the wall (and because I enjoy using the bolo knife 😁). 2. Using a string, attach the three poles to each other to form a triangle.
3. If you want to add decor, string on some ribbon and top with a star. 🌟
I've been sticking to a Filipino theme for the holidays for many years now because I really find local materials so beautiful and parols just bring back so many wonderful childhood holiday memories. I'm thinking of making more of these and distributing them around the house. 💗

I took advantage of the warm ( as warm as it gets in Nova Scotia in November) temperatures today and started working on some garlands. I usually dread the task (because I’m most always freezing while I do it!) but am always happy afterwards that I took the time to make them. .
Busy getting my flock on... our Christmas tree came “flocked”. However, 3 years ago, when we first got the flocked tree, within one hour of us assembling said tree, Miss Emory projectile vomited all over brand new flocked Christmas tree🤢🤮😑. During project “Christmas tree disinfection”, a lot of my on fleek flock, fell to the floor😔 (try and say that 5 times fast🤨😂). I’m finally getting around to reflocking my tree🌲 .
Since the internet has decided to jump right over Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas. OWN network is giving some new movies to tune in to

DIY twine Christmas decorations for all ages. .
We will be putting up our Christmas tree on 1st December, so we’ve started making some decorations. .
From two cardboard hearts that I cut out myself (see final pic) Mr 15 months & I made 3 decorations. (Actually, not quite true... but more on that later!) .
To make the two twine-wrapped hearts, I cut a smaller heart from the centre of the larger one, so that each heart “outline” was about 1cm thick. I then taped some twine to one side, & tightly wrapped the twine all the way around each heart. I fastened with a knot at the end & trimmed the remaining twine for neatness. This would be a suitable activity for adults and, if pre-prepared, children over 5 years. .
To make the “threaded” heart, I hole-punched a few holes around the heart’s edges. I taped one end of the twine to the heart, and wrapped some tape around the other end of twine, so it could function as a needle. This was supposed to keep Mr15 months busy while i worked on the other two, but he was more interested in unwrapping the tape “needle”, so all that was done on the threaded heart, was done together. This was the first ever threading activity we have attempted, so I will say he is too young at this point. For those wanting to attempt this one at home, I would estimate that 18-24 months & older would be a suitable age.
Not to long now and St Nicholas will be making his way to fill the shoes of good little boys and girls!! There’s still plenty of time to make this sweet St Nicholas before 5 December. ❤️💚 PDF pattern available for instant download in my shop!!
