The Training Summit ended, but our advocacy work only just began! I‘m so excited to see what the future has in hold for us and our projects 🤩 Four Days were not enough and I wish we‘d have more time together, but even in that short amount of time I got to know so many cool and inspiring people and it happens that we all have Diabetes & share a passion for advocacy & awareness work 😝 I‘m now part of a global network and like Daniel said part of a global family and I couldn‘t be more grateful 🥰 Thank you to everyone for the motivation, the ideas, the laughter & all the new perspectives ✨ oh and let‘s not forget the dancing lessons 💃🏻😂 Lots of Love from the German ❤️

На Международном конгрессе по сахарному диабету #IDF2019 в Южной Корее представлены очень важные данные ❗️о профилактике сахарного диабета 2 типа для женщин, которым был установлен диагноз «гестационный сахарный диабет (ГСД)», ведь такие женщины имеют более высокий риск развития диабета 2 типа в течение жизни.

Установлено, что грудное вскармливание 🤱🏼снижает риски развития сахарного диабета 2 типа у женщин с ГСД независимо ❗️от цвета кожи, образа жизни, веса тела и других факторов риска развития этого заболевания.

Преимущества и польза грудного вскармливания сегодня не вызывают сомнений: у женщины это профилактика рака груди, у ребёнка – оптимальное формирование иммунной системы.
Плюс профилактика ожирения и сахарного диабета для обоих участников процесса!

Механизмы, за счет которых грудное вскармливание снижает риски развития диабета, обсуждаются. Однако практическую пользу из этих научных данных мы можем извлечь уже сегодня, помогая женщинам с организацией грудного вскармливания, предоставляя необходимую информацию и помощь специалистов, когда это необходимо.

Belum lagi pembahasan mengenai Mental Health yang belum tersentuh 😍
Dilanjutkan dengan sesi Penanganan Diabetes Retinopathy di negara berkembang 😍
Salah satu yang menjadi catatan adalah eye screening dengan trained nurses untuk lower cost dan dilakukan rotasi ke berbagai wilayah untuk menjangkau lebih luas
Semoga suatu saat bisa kolaborasi dengan PERDAMI 🙏

Interesting karena sebagai penyandang diabetes komplikasi, saya mengalami sendiri beberapa komplikasi terdiagnosis hampir bersamaan 😢

Valuable experience for me indeed.

About type 1 Diabetes mellitus in IDF Congress 2019: 👉👉There is no “one size fits all” mealtime insulin. Regular, rapid or faster should be chosen depending on the clínical situation. 👉👉 Carbohydrate-counting should be used for determining the dose. 👉👉 Postprandial glucose excursions appear to be controlled better with faster analogues, but adjustments are needed particularly in CSII. 👉👉 Mealtime insulin should be injected before the meal whenever possible also with faster analogs. #idf#diabetesmellitus#hohlinbusan#hohlinsouthkorea#idf2019 #endocrinologiaemetabologia#orgulhodeserendocrinologista#huufsc
