It should come as no surprise to learn that celebrities are often serious art collectors, both because they have the money and because they move in creative circles. Read more of the article via the highlight in our bio. #celebrities who are #huge#artcollector
There once was a boat and a tree.
Who became good friends, one could see.
But the tree always feared that one day,
the boat would just plain sail away.
So he learned there's one thing that's a must,
To believe in his faith and his trust,
that although sometimes life brings dismay,
All things will work out the right way.
A TOTAL blast from the past. I was 22 when I made this large etching. It's super scary posting it here - but shows how themes and images keep repeating themselves in any artist's work.
For me it's women as well as those floating creatures (stolen from Giotto). I was a student at the time so have never shown these works in public. Except for now. (I was known for making weird stuff.)

"The Face Of Stupidly Romantic" is a tribute to all souls who believe in unconditional, pure, and romantic love. The girl with a pink hair (a symbol of ideal and naive outlook on life) looks into a crystal ball and sees two hearts and a bird with a nest in it: her childhood dream, final wish, and future reality.
“A portrait is not a likeness. The moment an emotion or fact is transformed into a photograph it is no longer a fact but an opinion. There is no such thing as inaccuracy in a photograph. All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth. ”

KYKNOS , sculpture designed by Hyunjong Kim. •
The building project is a series of creations inspired by the combination of many forms, structures, and numerous layers that Korean Designer Hyunjong Kim has experienced in architecture. Architecture, which may be difficult and complex, is expressed here as a simple and intuitive object in order to approach people a little bit more easily. Hyunjong Kim also wants to tell you about the new beauty created when different shapes and materials work together.
The types of marble used in the building project, red travertine and kyknos, are mysterious, they show sufficient charm through their own colors, and blossom further when mixed with the minimal form and the natural texture of the material. This building project also built up a structural shape by combining layers based on inspiration from marble. Like all the works of the building project, the layers are not fixed separately so that they were able to take different forms depending on how they are stacked. @atelier_khj
