This is the famous Honesty bookshop, where you pay as much as you like for books. There is no bookseller. The shop is quite hidden, you have to know where it is to find it. It’s not visible from the street, it’s hiding behind the stone wall.
Fisherman on Kerala's Lake Vembanad, from our latest #tripwiredtours tour of South India. He took us out in the evening from the gorgeous Purity Hotel and paddled us past the Chinese fishing nets you can see hovering in the background. He'll spend the night on the platform working his net, heaving it up and down - he showed us how and it took a huge effort - many times each hour to catch prawns which are attracted to the lights suspended above the nets. That’s India, a dozen stories every day.
