The Heath Fritillary, one of the UK's rarest butterflies, produced a stunning spectacle in Kent during 2019, in what has been one of the best years on record for this threatened species.
The butterfly’s success is down to the combined conservation efforts of a team of organisations including the RSPB, Kent Wildlife Trust, Forestry Commission, private woodland owners and South East Water.

Phew... I cut it kind of close, but I managed to finish @lightlash247 DTIYS challenge! This character had such a cute design, so it was fun drawing this! I got to step out of my comfort zone a bit too.
Theres a nice big green patch of grass to just sit and enjoy some good time out with this gorgeous weather! Little gazebos with benches spread around. Restaurants, cafes, shisha joints, all at a walking distance of 5 kms from each other!
A very promising area which feels fresh and full of life!
