  • New PR 225 for a double 
Although the crop doesn’t show the whole bar it’s 225 😂. Super proud of this lift my bench has always been a weakness and I would say the success is from overhead pressing and focusing on building tricep strength. I’ve also focused on benching wide; I want to grow my chest and not bench with a lot of triceps.

  • Lagging on your bench press? Weak triceps and shoulders may be the cause! Close grip bench is one of the best compound movements that focus the triceps and can help you blast through plateaus. Due to the grip width, I recommend using a block or Airex pad to reduce the range of motion slightly, which takes stress off the shoulders and keeps the tension focused on the triceps, not the chest. Grip width should be wide enough to allow your forearms to stay vertical with the floor and remember to keep the scapulas retracted and depressed (shoulder blades back and down). .

  • Incline Press (FAIL) 🤷🏽‍♂️. Don’t be afraid or ashamed to Fail . It’s all part of the process . You either shy away from it or look at it as an opportunity to better yourself and stay hungry for more . Keep your eye on the prize . This is a no go in my book due to a tiny amount of help I had from my great spotter . @i.angel.a 💪🏽 But believe me this is just a bad day in the gym and will look forward to greater days 💯 S/o to @jeffpillai for recording .

  • Crap! I got a case of Ligma. Today’s a hard Chest and Tri. I started the workout with 100 reps of bench press or 5x25. I added some resistance with a stretcher to add that extra burning sensation. I was gonna call it quits by the third set but I had to keep pushing. Then I did Plate Pullovers with 45lbs. Which was followed by 75lb Incline Dumbbell Press then 120lb Chest Flyes. I finished off with 90lb Barbell Tricep Xtensions and 110lb Tricep Rope Pulldown. Keep pushing y’all 🤟 #chestworkout #chest #fitness #fitnessmotivation #workout #triceps #benchpress
