I want to share with you something I’ve learned this past week, that hit me like a ton of bricks☄️
For soooooooooo long I rode on the coat tails of MOTIVATION. When I was motivated I could kick butt and accomplish goals I set for myself. I’m sure you are the same way. BUT what I kept running into like a freaking BRICK WALL, was what the HECK do I do when motivation isn’t there. HOW do I pull myself to keep going???? It’s like a i was this slug on a freaking summer Florida side walk 🐌
THEN this past week I’ve been getting up with this little workout group LIVE with them on video and THAT is where I learned.... I HAVE TO JUST HAVE DISCIPLINE. Which guess what that for sure doesn’t happen over night. It has to be drilled and drilled.
Soooooooo this past year getting up at 6am out of a mixture of FOMO(fear of missing out), accountability, and just sheer discipline I have been getting my workouts in each day and even better, getting them done earlier in the day so that I didn’t
1. Feel tired and gross all day
2. I feel so much more accomplished
3. My energy is now through the roof!
BALLER!!!! This concept is freaking BALLER!!! I am soooooooooo pumped to bring y’all on this Journey starting January 16th! The group is going to be life changing and it fills up SUPER fast! So send me dm, pm, em(made that up)

A few impressions from my visit to Kennedy Space Center and a shaky, blurry clip of the rocket launch I was able to observe from Cocoa Beach some 20 km away.
Kennedy Space Center is definitely worth a visit and I can only agree with the advice @peterramuska gave me to plan a full day for this.
I had a three hours drive over from Clearwater Beach, so I arrived at noon and the time until they closed at 6 pm was just about enough to see what I wanted to see - and that was only with the activities included in the basic admission. I could easily have made it a full day from 9 - 6.
It was interesting to stand between rockets amd palm trees while Christmas songs were being played 😀🎄🚀
The launch I was able to observe was a SpaceX Falcon 9 performing resupply mission CRS-19 to the International Space Station.
What you really see - even from this distance - is of course better than this clip recorded with my mobile just shooting "blind" while I actually watched the launch and if you are interested you will find really good footage of the launch (and also of the relanding of the first stage) e.g. on YouTube.
It was the noise of the launch that really impressed me. From a distance of 20 km about one minute after the launch you hear a low, grumbling noise, somehow like thunder - just going on much longer. How loud must it be when you have the chance to experience this from within Kennedy Space Center only 7 - 10 km away.

For Celebrate Shelter Pet Day I’m going to share my personal experience with shelter pets. In May 2013 I adopted my first shelter pet - a kitten. Last July I adopted my first shelter dog. I’ve fostered a total of 7 shelter dogs and I’m hoping to add to that number over time. .
My tiny kitten, Liam, grew into a big fluffy monster. He has a cattitude and thinks he runs the house (I mean...he kind of does). When I adopted my dog, Archie, he was a young adult. He is the perfect combo of exercise partner and couch potato. He’s constantly trying to give kisses in exchange for pets. The shelter staff nicknamed him “drive by” because when they’d walk past his kennel, he’d try to lick them. Archie loves to sit at the window and bark at any by-passers. He talks a big game, but in reality he’s never met a person or dog he hasn’t tried to befriend. His imperfections make him the perfect addition to my family. I certainly wouldn’t laugh as much without his goofiness to fill my days. .
The shelter dogs I’ve fostered have varied in appearance, age, breed, and personality. I’ve had dogs stay with me for as short as 3 nights to my current resident of 9 weeks. Whether they know it or not, each dog holds a special place in my heart. In my experience, shelter dogs all have different backgrounds, but they show the same gratitude to be in a low-stress home setting where they can have an opportunity to thrive. Shelter dogs deserve to have a home where they can feel safe, receive love, and get attention. If you’ve been thinking of getting a pet, please consider opening your home to those in the shelter who have been surrendered or abandoned. .
