  • A Ghost Story (2017)
David Lowery, who both wrote and directed the film, characterized his idea to create a movie about a ghost as a primordial miasm in his brain, as he visioned a ghost exactly like the one that is presented in the movie. He believes that it is a very goofy image that is breaking from the norm in terms of how a story is told and the tools that are used for it.
.
What are your thoughts on this film❓

  • Learn Filmmaking with Colorist @theqazman | “Many of you asked me to do the Mad Max look breakdown and here it is. ⁣

I can tell you one thing. This will be nearly impossible without shooting it with a high-end camera like the Alexa Mini or the RED. You really need the extra bit depth to pull some serious keys to nail this look.⁣
⁣
This is probably one of the most pushed looks I have ever created in my life. I am definitely not surprised. This movie has a GRADE of the century. So freaking poppy and delicious. ⁣
⁣
I am sure a ton of credit goes to the Cinematography as well as the Art Direction. That said, color grading plays a HUGE role in this film. It really helps the story with the exaggerated hues and emphasizes the wasteland, poor climate, and the post-apocalyptic aspect. ⁣
⁣
It’s one of my favorite movies of all time and it was a blast to recreate this look.⁣
⁣
Enjoy!⁣”

  • My association with Aromatherapy & its journey has been the calling of fate some would say... Being married into the Tyagi family of Nehtaur, lifestyle & grooming came to be all about simple, natural ingredients in beauty recipes descending through generations of the royal household. Visits to our aromatic plantations back in Nehtaur were absolutely exquisite, replete with natural foliage & blooms, the breeze trailing in their enchanting aroma & enveloping me in verdure freshness.

What started it all I would say, was my encounter with the healing power of natural herbs & fragrant oils during my pregnancy, their natural goodness oh-so-therapeutic & rejuvenating. The memories of soothing Chamomile plantations next to our house are still fresh in my mind. The breeze that blew through the plantation brought with it the calming benefits of Chamomile. The casual walk in the chamomile field had its own charm and here began my Tryst with Destiny – The Chamomile essential oil. Someone who has been prone to all sorts of allergies, the healing of such natural potions & oils as suggested by my grandmother-in-law did absolute wonders. Be it a pack of turmeric & yoghurt, henna for cooling my hands & feet or jasmine herbs for calming the senses, the body responded favourably to these natural concoctions, such was their potency.

Post the birth of my first child, my curiosity towards understanding the power of Natural ingredients & Essential Oils further stoked my interest in the science of Aromatherapy, the rest being history!

  • The Halloween remake from the year 2007 is a weird one for me, upon some viewings I really like it and other viewings I really don’t like it. I appreciate the first half of the movie and giving a vastly different take on Michael’s upbringing , usually I don’t like full back story’s but I felt this needed it to be different. The white trash aspect gets annoying at times because it feels out of place in the Halloween universe, also I find the second half of the film to be extremely boring.
