Nestled in a far flung, forgotten corner of our garden, at the end of our Beech Avenue sits the old, ramshackle gate. The inquisitive gardener in me naturally wants to garden this shady spot. Amongst the ferns and the moss, a light smattering of piercing white Digitalis is screaming out to be planted in this very spot. I’ll be working some into this space in Spring as a result.
We often rush in mess. Actually, we rush from clutter. We never dive in it. We often make the same mistake of taking hasty decisions in a state of commotion. We do clean our places but we never think of cleaning the home that's inside us. We simply find a way out of the situation to have a pleasant state of mind. We should hush the rush and think of it deeply. Then one may realize that to have transparency and clarity out of it, One simply has to step in chaos.

Today I close the door on the past. I release any story that keeps me tied to past victories or failures. I cut all cords that bind me. I choose to be free. 🦋 I forgive myself for my mistakes. I forgive those that hurt me. I honour the many lessons I have learned with gratitude. I witness my courage and resilience in coming this far and keeping an open heart and a sense of humour. I release myself from any story about myself or my life that does not serve me or honour the brilliant, radiant soul that I am. I release any expectation that my past dictates my future. I am grateful for the times I struggled, for now I know how to rise. Today, I close the door on the past. Today, and for each day after, I am born anew into the ever-present now. And so it is.✨🙏✨
Day 20: Half way through the new window week. Tomorrow they are back for day two out of three. Can’t wait to see the new front door on and feel warmer with the double glazing. It has been mighty chilly round here since moving in. 🥶🥶
Located up river from Mandalay, Myanmar, it was meant to be the pedastal for the world's largest Buddhist stupa; aftering being hit by a large earthquake, however, it became the world's largest pile of bricks. So large that I had a hard time getting a picture to capture it.
