I had a different plan this morning for what I was going to post about. Then I went for my morning workout. In a passing comment, I said something to my trainer, and this was her response. It made me think that sometimes we all need this reminder.
Sometimes it is hard to get family together. Work, finances, differences of opinion and more can prevent you from being together. Focusing on the true meaning of the holidays can cut through all of that.

You can't draw water from an empty well. Our bodies need sleep to be properly energized to face challenges and respond properly.
I did quite a bit of reading about sleep in preparation for this week's topic. I was surprised by the number of health issues that have been linked to lack of sleep.
We've all been there. Too little sleep, body worn down, concentration shot, clumsy, and disoriented. Making yourself a priority and letting your body rest will pay you back in renewed energy and quality of work.
I can remember when I went to a nutritionist and did an elimination diet. When we started adding certain foods back in, I was miserable and sick. That's when I found out how much food matters.
