  • ✨ Feature Friday ✨
Introducing @sizzling_paradise - Alexa and Matt are both wedding photographers👰🏻📷 which they say is the best job ever. They are technically based in London, UK but are often travelling the world, telling peoples stories. They are also always in search of a cool coffee shop!☕️ A fun fact about them - they first met on Facebook before in person!
•••
Their Instagram account, Sizzling Paradise, came to life just over two years ago when they realised they were only taking pictures of other people and they lacked in documenting their own life.
•••
Alexa and Matt’s favorite place is Mexico, but they dream of going to Bora Bora!☀️
•••
Head over to their account ASAP because they are off to New York soon and they can’t wait to experience it in the winter!❄️ Also, in February they will be ticking South Africa off their bucket list - we can’t wait to follow along!😍

📷@sergandtana «Paddling through the aquamarine waters of San Luis Potosí surrounded by tall walls of mountain on either side and then proceeding to jump right off of this rock into the water was definitely a highlight of 2019
.
Mexico is so full of hidden surprises.
.
If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?»

  • How adorable is this dog?
🐶
This hairless breed is called Xoloitzcuintli or Xolo. Its name come from two náhuatl (Aztec’s language) words: Xolotl, the god of lightning and death, and Itzcuintli, or dog.
🐕
According to Aztec belief, the Dog of Xolotl was created by the god to guard the living and guide the souls of the dead through the dangers of Mictlán, the Underworld. So let’s say its role is quite important in our culture.
🤩
I think some people don’t like them because they are hairless but we find them beautiful! If you travel with us, you’ll meet this one in Oaxaca.
😍
Dates for 2020 are available! Link in bio 🤓

  • I have been finding treasures in places I did not want to search. I have been hearing wisdom from tongues I did not want to listen. I have been finding beauty where I did not want to look. And I have learned so much from journeys I did not want to take. Forgive me, O Gracious One; for I have been closing my ears and eyes for too long. I have learned that miracles are only called miracles because they are often witnessed by only those who can see through all of life's illusions. I am ready to see what really exists on other side, what exists behind the blinds, and taste all the ugly fruit instead of all that looks right, plump and ripe. - Suzy Kassem

  • People ask, "Do you feel safe in Mexico?" My answer: Yes!! Sometimes clients come to me wanting to find their amazing tropical destination and, despite Mexico being a good match, they're afraid to go.

I encourage everyone to read the State Department travel advisories and make their own decisions.

But what they'll find there is that the main tourist areas of Mexico are listed at the same level of many popular tourist destinations, including European countries that most don't think twice about worrying over.

Like any destination, you should be smart and aware when traveling. I wouldn't walk a dark alley way in most US cities, just as I would not in Mexico.

But the beautiful resort areas I stay in? Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing sights. And I always feel safe. I work with trusted suppliers for all our travel bookings, both for myself and for clients.

I'd never push someone into going anywhere they feel uncomfortable with. But I definitely encourage you to do a little research before writing off Mexico.

The Palacio de Bella Artes "Palace of Fine Arts", a prominent cultural center and one of New Mexico's architectural master pieces, is the most photographed building in New Mexico and it is beautiful to behold day or night. .
