Spent the entire weekend, putting away all my Fall decor and decking the Halls. Half of my house is finished, and the other half is a disaster, but I’m exhausted, and it’s time to enjoy the cozy view of my twinkle lights on the couch! 🤗
Enjoy your night! ❤️
I am totally 𝓈𝓌𝑜𝑜𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 over this bathroom! 😛
— @myrusticmodernhome did such a fabulous job designing this bathroom! The double vanity, the mirrors, and the light fixtures are all perfection! 😍
I am absolutely diggin’ her subtle Christmas decor as well! Bravo!! 🎅🏼🌲👏🏻

Just picked up the cutest (and stinkiest) couch ever! It’ll be getting re upholstered and going to my sisters @floretflower ... where all of my favorite things seem to end up. We must have the same taste. I already want it back but i don’t have room to start hoarding couches.
Well good old Minnesota thought it would be fun to drop her temperatures quickly and throw some snow into the mix. Needless to say, this has thrown a wrench into some of our progress. Our well isn’t 100% dug yet ☹️.They’re still working away on it, though! Our siding has been delayed because of the type of siding it is. Our siding is a brand called LP Smart, and it’s supposed to be very durable. But, with installation, the sides that get cut need to be painted before being put up on the house. Unfortunately freeze drying doesn’t work 🙃. Lucky for us, Our builders are the best at working with us and finding different ways to make things work. So now they’re working on insulating the garage so we can heat that bad boy so they can work on the siding inside. On the bright side? We’re starting to get electrical boxes installed and we can recessed lights in our bedroom tray ceiling. Our septic system is also officially in! Yay for not needing an outhouse 😜. We also have stairs, our big living room windows installed, and the patio door downstairs is installed. Sometimes it seems like there hasn’t been a lot of progress when it’s not big “right in your face” changes that are happening, but we’ve needed to remind ourselves that all the little details are indeed progress, less noticeable progress, but just as important nonetheless! .
How cute is this built in kids corner/play area?! Collins is a SUPER fan. 😉🏠

I have always been drawn to old homes. Most of my adult years have been spent living in homes 200 years old. I love the worn wooden beams, the initials carved 75 years ago, the remnants of memories and a time long forgotten. The farmhouse here at VT Grand View Farm was built in two phases, the first being in the late 1700s and the second, an addition in 1850. We have spent the past 15 years reclaiming pastures and returning our property to its agricultural roots. We have kept much of the farm activities the same, sugaring, homesteading, and pigs. Our only addition was to bring sheep to the property for the first time. (The spring photo is from the 1960s.) The family who built our home lie in rest in a small graveyard just a couple hundred feet away, and their descendants live just up the road a short piece in the opposite direction. We have stepped in as stewards of this old farm, members for awhile of a community and a story.
You know when you’re SO stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner but you somehow make room for pie? Well, this is that pie. My favorite Cinnamon and Sugar Crumble Apple Pie recipe is up. It’s a holiday staple in our house and I’m thrilled to share it. Link in bio!
Today, I pause to thank all that have served and who are serving for this great country we live in. My grandfather, pictured here, served in WWII. I am so proud of what he and so many have done to ensure our safety. This is definitely the home of the brave. 🇺🇸 #fernberryhollowhandmade#homeofthebrave#veteransday2019
I have FINALLY allowed myself to begin decorating for Christmas and doing some fun Christmas DIYs. I know for a lot of people November is still TOO soon, but I can’t wait anymore! 🌲 I’m ready for all the Christmas feels, whose with me? 🙋♀️ •
To be honest I wasn’t sure if I was going to post this because my lettering needs some work, but the best part of DIYs is that they are made with love and they don’t have to be perfect. •

❄️ Cozy ❄️ Casual ❄️ A perfect retreat on this freezing cold day!
I personally installed the shiplap on this master bedroom wall. Needed a budget friendly upgrade...and this was the perfect solution.
I had Home Depot cut thin 4x8 pieces of plywood into 8” strips. Nailed them up with a nail gun, primed, and painted. It was a fairly simple project and only cost $200.00 (not including tools). What has been one of your favorite DIY projects? #diy#diyshiplap#farmhouse#cozy#interiorinspiration
