It seems to be my catch phrase these days.
I feel I don’t have enough time for anything,
overwhelmed by all the things I need to do and could do, starting a million all in once and struggling to finish any.

Feeling always behind brings to feel stuck, uninspired, stagnant as I’m not taking the quality time to be with myself, work with myself and understand myself.

I neglected my meditation and yoga self practice lately.
I’m constantly thinking of creating - Instagram content, classes, playlists, YouTube videos - instead of just doing it for the sake of doing it.

More I feel the need to be on top of things, more I get lost along the way.

I need time to reconnect with me.
I take this time.
I own my shit.
I come back to myself.

So yeah, this is what I’m working on at the moment! 😅

  • Apparently the early bird catches the yoga and meditation room! My progress has gone backwards, but I am THANKFUL to have this job. This week I tried harder to work in even minimal exercise in ten to fifteen minute windows. Next week I’ll try harder. I’ll figure this overly constricted schedule out somehow.  #exercisematters #healthmatters #findingtime #bendsoyoudontbreak

  • This picture perfectly captures what at home work outs look like. 😂
Navigating between getting a solid 30 min of exercise while also getting water, changing the inevitable dirty diaper, and breaking up the fights over toys that no one really wants to play with anyways, it's exhausting. 
But there is hope. ❤
I love doing my cool down  or yoga days with them while they watch/do @cosmickidsyoga. (Duck is more about that restorative yoga life 😂)They feel included and I feel less guilty about taking time for myself in the mornings.

  • Finding time for myself is hard when putting my family and work before me day in and day out.

I’m sure this is something like every mom can relate to from time to time. 
giving it some serious thought time for myself is just as important for my family as it is for myself. 
Today I started writing down my goals again something I’ve been putting off for the past months. 
Time for myself whether it be gym time or home yoga on top of meal prepping is priority #1 on my list! 
I would do anything for my daughter and I always put her first so why should that be any different then taking care of myself while pregnant. Am I right? 😅

Just be true to yourself when you choose all the doings that get done. Because.... there is a huge difference between doing ALL.THE.THINGS and making space for the things that are your "ALL". X Simone

  • "Plan ahead or plan to fail"

With our current schedule, I know if I dont meal plan we will end up buying lunches and/or picking some sort of takeout for dinner. Which of course gets expensive fast!
I used my 10min break to figure out what meals we are going to make and the groceries we need. On my lunch, Ill place an order for Sprouts delivery.

  • A few days old but a fun shot of the kiddo on Sunday’s apple adventure in Yucaipa.  Spent day 1 of year 46 with close friends on a farm outside of LA, enjoying life, kiddos and a break from the everyday.

  • 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭. 100 workouts. Hard to believe it’s over. Hard to believe I did it. WE DID IT. Definitely couldn’t accomplished it without the constant support from my accountability group.

This program has allowed me to find BALANCE and true health. I haven’t been killing it in the gym with crazy workouts or restricting my diet.

It’s been 20-30 min workouts done consistently. An 80% healthy nutrition plan with room for sweets and treats on occasion and a glass of wine with the hubs when I want one.

It’s been a journey of loving my body well and feeling stronger, more flexible, and agile in the process.
•
You don’t need to go crazy to feel good and get results. Simply get started, stay consistent, and find a tribe who is willing to support and encourage you along the way!

My November Fitsgiving challenge is kicking off November 11 and I can’t wait to share this or many other programs with you!! DM for details!
