🎄 12 DAYS OF SQUATS BEFORE CHRISTMAS 🎄 .
DAY 1: TRX SQUATS
A great one for beginners and fantastic for practicing going to depth with the safety of the TRX to hold onto.
Hold onto the TRX and take a step back. Feet flat but keep your weight in your heels, hinge from the hips and keep your chest upright. Push your heels into the floor and push the floor away as you come back up, using as little assistance from the TRX as possible. .

Week FIVE is almost complete! Today was a very cold Cut.
I woke up this morning to no heat! Although oddly enough, it’s colder upstairs than it is in the basement... Good thing it’s Friday the 13th and it’s allegedly going to be sunny!
In truth, it could be a lot worse. I still have power and hot water and a heating pad that I’m currently using to keep my toesies warm! And I have a stellar election who’s coming to check things out in a bit.
But it definitely made for an interesting workout. Sweater on until first transformer, then back on again for the second and then off for the remainder!
And most importantly, it didn’t stop me from pushing hard and killing last week’s numbers!
Mindset. It’s a beautiful thing. I could have used a million excuses not to workout this morning.
Motivation. I am past the excuse stage. The only one I’ve got left is to push harder or then some! My commitment to my health and fitness is stronger than my desire to slack.
That workout glow.
Baby girl took a quick nap after her longer morning nap(no sleep until midnight tonight now) so I did a quick workout cause I've veen slacking lately and I wanna get back in shape again, take care of myself so I cam be the best mom and wife and just person in general.
Can I just take a second to say WOW!
When I started I was so full of doubt, I honestly thought I wouldn't lose weight and wouldn't stick with it- in my mind I was setting myself up to fail...😞
I'm here to tell you that with hard work, dedication, time and a whole lot of sweat and some tears it is possible!
It isn't just about losing weight, it's about proving to myself that I am strong enough to push through and overcome the doubts and fears that were (are) inside me.
It is tough to stay motivated and I truly struggle with it some days but seeing comparisons like this make me want to keep going!
If you are on a similar journey or you want to start one, I encourage you to document your progress. The scale isn't always going to show you what you want to see and after all it is just a number. 😏
Remember, you are capable of achieving your goals and you are stronger than you know! 😘❤
TRUTH- Eating rice does NOT cause Fat gain, but choosing the correct type of rice makes all the difference.
➡️ White rice is basically empty calories with no Nutritional value.
➡️ On the other hand Brown rice, Red rice etc have much higher fiber content and essential vitamins that you need.
⬅️ Swipe to know why white Rice is bad for your body.
Bicep fully retracted back firmly in place. !!!!
Although there are substantial Visual discrepancies in that right arm, I am fully content with how it looks currently considering all the variables that’s gone before this second surgery.
Muscle wastage is evident, but muscle memory is great thing, and more so for myself as I never really trained arms, so when the time comes to rebuild, that initial stimulus will be as if I’d never trained them before, resulting in huge adaptations. .
This truly will be my biggest project to date and I am relishing in the challenge that lies ahead of me.!
I predict 8 weeks MAXIMUM until I can fully extend and then the rebuild begins.

You have a big goal and you're scared AF? No problem. Everyone starts somewhere and you can accomplish WHATEVER you put your mind to.
You fell off the wagon? Cool. You were courageous enough to get on the track and for that, you should be SO DAMN PROUD.
You gained some weight back? C'est la vie! I'm glad you enjoyed that wine and french bread while in "FRANCE" (as you should!). You know exactly what to do to get back at it and you're ahead of anyone else that hasn't tried. The good habits are there ready to be reignited.
You aren't feeling motivated? You're a living breathing human! Yay YOU!
This feeling WILL come up again so the best way to strategize is to anticipate that this day will show up and be ready for it.
So try mixing it up, try something new and remember to be compassionate and caring with yourself along the way.
The journey to success isn't a direct line. And the most successful people are the most resilient. They've failed the most times, made the most mistakes, and gotten up every time.
If you want to start your journey but don't know where to begin, I'm here to help! This week, I have 3 promo codes for $20 off. I AM ready to help start that journey.
In the meantime, let's try to look at failure as progress...steps in the right direction... moves towards making lasting changes and giving ourselves the empathy we deserve when we need a little breathing room to get there.
sooooo I hit a 100kg squat @58kg body weight this week. ❤️ I had been putting in a decent amount of effort into my squats and it’s truly paid off.. unlike my deadlifts 😂😩 The last time I completed sets was almost a month ago, it was around 95kg for 3x3 and they felt heavy? 🥴 but since I was on a high from hitting a squat PB I thought fk it I’ll just test my deads and lo and behold there was a whole lot more strength there too 🤯 127.5kg single 🥳 bit of form breakdown due to genuinely forgetting how to deadlift lol but it’s only up from here 🤗
