Actually, you can! ✨ some deep thoughts inspired by my ~mug~ today! Think about that one thing you didn’t think you could do this year but DID! It’s important to pause and celebrate these things. For me, a huge thing I conquered this year was anxiety... the panic attack every day kind. This was by far the highlight of my year (tied with the recent colbie report) though I rarely talked about it. Whatever it is you think you can’t do... take this as your reminder that you can and it’s coming! || http://liketk.it/2H3kz #email@example.com@liketoknow.it.home#LTKhome#LTKholidayathome#LTKholidaystyle

Natural / super minimal makeup today! 💞 Soooo I already managed to ruin my hair blowout from my haircut on Saturday by sleeping like a weirdo. 🙃 Can’t wait to wash it to see how it looks curly!!! 💞

What do you think your biggest asset is? If that’s too much pressure just give me one. Every time I think about this I think about how it can also be the thing I hate the most - my ability to create connections. But it’s from those connections that I have found my stride and have been able to truly help others, so l suppose I’ll take a little of the crap with all the good.
My husband got down the Christmas box yesterday, while Christmas classics played and a balsam candle burned, I began spreading cheer all around our house. 🎄
Once we get back home from thanksgiving we get to dress up our tree, oh my heart, I just love this season. ALSO...
Some lovely ornaments await you in the shop! ✨ @heather_elizabeth_photography
#mindfulmonday ... what were you most grateful for this week? Here’s my list:
1. Peanut butter ... it’s ooey-gooey goodness ... it’s full of healthy fats ... it’s super satisfying ... and my children love it almost as much as I do, which means if you want to avoid an epic showdown over what to eat for lunch, serve it up 💃🏼
2. That God blessed me with the opportunity to become a mother to a little boy ... people kept telling me there’s nothing like the connection between a mama and her baby boy. I was so in love with my two girls, I just questioned how that was possible. Now I know. And all those people were absolutely correct. That’s not to say I love Kellen more and Olivia and Emme less ... the love for each is just different ... in a truly wonderful way. 💛
3. Fur-lined sandals ... yes, they’re heavenly ... I will wear them all winter, even without socks, and even if people look at me like I’m nuts 🥜 ... you can shop the best pair ever on the blog, under the “shop my faves” section midway down on the home page (link in profile) 👆🏻
4. For mornings like the scene above ... my two girls, cuddled together, in their matching white nightgowns, whispering and giggling in corners ... they’re the epitome of purity and innocence. They give me little glimpses of God every day.
5. Despite the many downsides (and there ARE many), I’m also grateful for the FEW positive impacts of social media. While it may be negative in some respects to be able to see what’s going on anywhere in the world with a swipe and a click, it has also made me keenly aware of how blessed I am to have been born at this time, in this country. In no other place and at no other time in history has it been this good to be a girl or woman. If you’re a girl or woman living in the U.S. in 2019, you are in no way oppressed, no matter what anyone tells you. If you think so, take a swipe and a click and look at what your life could have looked like 30, 50, or 100 years ago. Take a look at what your life could be like now in other parts of the world. Today, here, you have every opportunity in the world, and I am so grateful for that. 🙌🏻
It’s felt so fun and simultaneously strange logging into this account after such an extended period of time away from it. It makes me happy to be here and visit these memories. It also makes me desire new ones. So, I’ll be back again. And again. And probably again after that, too. Mostly just posting fun photos that are enjoyable for me to craft up and play with. Here’s to doing things that are fun and light for your heart! 💕
This big hunk of ham turned 11 months this past weekend & I’ve been crying about it. One month shy of a ONE YEAR OLD 😭 I love that you love books & spinning around really fast. I love that you are always completely enamored when trying something new. I love that you laugh every time you see the cats & I love that you always will dance to Shoop by Salt-N-Pepa. You’re better than I could ever have imagined, Willem. We love the snot out of you!
One of our favorite traditions we like to do this time of year is to make a giant fort and have a Christmas movie marathon! Jake and I have done this the past few years and were so excited to share this tradition with the twins and introduce them to some Christmas classics! We knew with our cute girls, time to make a fort would be limited, so we used a @privacypop#BedTent and some string lights to create our fort this year! Now off to watch The Santa Clause series!! What is your favorite Holiday movie?! #Christmas#Fort#PrivacyPop#twinfamily
Grace and Mario met during an internship with General Mills in Chicago. After going their separate ways, the two eventually bumped into each other again working at the same General Mills location in Tennessee. If this isn’t fate at work, then I don’t know what is!
toasted marshmallow - the perfect pairing scent.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
this candle is always burning in our house, no matter what. you can pair it with anything from bourbon apple cider, to evergreen forest, and it will add a soft vanilla base to the room.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
one of my favorite tips 🕯

Ok, ok, TWO things, but they’re both Christmas ornaments so that’s kind of like 1 🤦🏻♀️ Double tap if you feel the @target struggle too!

On this 90 degree mid-November afternoon, I was delighted to find fall beauty.
These leaves were gently swaying as we passed by and I was reminded of Mary’s words:
We shake with joy, we shake with grief.
What a time they have, these two
housed as they are in the same body.

Your life might be okay right now. Your job is okay. Your marriage is okay. Your home is okay. But it's okay to want more than okay.
More intentional relationships.
A healthier body.
A better job.
A bigger business.
More fun in your life.
A more beautiful home.
Be the example of what more looks like for your family, your kids, your friends, your coworkers.
Show people what's possible by being the one to do what seems impossible.
It’s a beautiful Monday! I’m happy because currently my living room is pretty clean. I hope it last a while, haha! Environments are so important to me. I love walking into a space that looks beautiful and feels welcoming and cozy. I just posted a mini living room tour in my stories. This is one of my favorite spaces in my home! It may look nice and neat now but it’s all about the process it took to get here. I believe anyone can create that kinda of cozy and welcoming environment in their space. It’s never too late 😊 #thedetwilerhome
