Hallllllooooo! How's you everyone ? 
I planned a lazy saturday but didn't happen as i planned. Went for shopping (wanted to do less expense but dil maange more 😐). No breakfast,only a orange was not enough to start a day. Went to naheed supermarket after spending 3hrs on shopping( basically searching stuff) finally stopped on this bakery. Vintage never disappoints me, freshly baked patties and sausage jhalapeno , muffins , cupcakes , brownieesssss. 
Olalalalala heaven to me❤️
Excitement changed into little disappointment when i took the first bike of pattie and it was empty , my mouthful with only puff. Filling kaha he bhai 😞 took another huge bite but till then all excitement was gone. No doubt, sausage jhalapeno was good. I had choco muffin which also had balanced sweet taste ☺️
Must say they are really good in hygiene. I always check food safety when i go to buy anywhere.  As an Food technologist i am v.much insecure pata nhi kesa ho kiyaaaaaa ho ? We can see , check , analyse what you people can't. 
Be with me i'll aware you more 💗

  • Went to check out @grubboxldn in Bethnal Green last night ~ the burger was seriously good.. juicy and messy.. just how I like it! Wings a little spicy for me (but I can’t hack spice as it is) but cooked perfectly 👏🏽 and the rest of the food tasted great too! All ingredients made from scratch.. from the chips to the sauce.
Don’t really post non-restaurants on HFD but was impressed how this business is run by 1 person.. 7 days a week, so wanted to check it out.. and was not disappointed!

  • I hadn't realised what a hike the Ridgeway was from my hotel, but had high hopes having been recommended it by a fellow lone dinner I'd met at one point in Gem 42. It's newly refurbished following new management, with  a pretty interesting looking menu.

Unfortunately my starter of pigeon was very disappointing. The pigeon was incredibly overcooked and dry, to the point I almost didn't recognise it as pigeon on the plate (can you spot it?). It was saved somewhat by the accompaniments - the squash gnocchi was particularly nice.

The main was much better, pork belly accompanied by an interesting "cake" of butternut squash and black pudding, which had a lovely texture and good flavour, though a touch over salted. 
It was good enough that I took a gamble on dessert and went for a cherry baked Alaska. I'll confess that I'm a sucker for ordering it whenever I see it - it sounds like such a great idea doesn't it? The cherries were lovely and boozy, but the dish overall was far too sweet. To the point where I left half of it unfinished - almost unheard of as far as I'm concerned!

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere from the many parties going on that evening saved the day, but my meal was overall not the best. I do hope it's just some teething issues, as it certainly has potential, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them!

🍥 ОРЕШКИ СО СГУЩЁНКОЙ БЕЗ ОРЕШНИЦЫ 🍥

◽️ингредиенты:
• тесто:
масло сливочное - 70 г
яйцо - 1 шт
сахар - 1 ст.л
соль - щепотка
мука - 170 г
разрыхлитель - 1/3 ч.л.
молоко – 2 ст.л.
• начинка:
вареное сгущённое молоко - 220 г.
орехи по вкусу
(варианты пп-начинок: творог+какао/творожный сыр/детское пюре/пп варёная сгущёнка)

▫️приготовление:
1. яйцо смешать с сахаром, добавить щепотку соли
2. к яйцу влить остывшее растопленное сливочное масло, всыпать просеянную муку и разрыхлитель.
3. замесить тесто, в конце добавляем молоко
4. тесто раскатать в пласт толщиной 4-5 мм., вырезать кружочки (с помощью стакана)
5. из фольги сформировать небольшие овальные шарики и наложить на него вырезанный из теста кружок. Сделать узор чайной ложкой и отправить в духовку на 12-15 минут при 180 градусах
5. остывшие скорлупки орешков наполнить начинкой (по желанию положить в центр орех/добавить дроблённые орехи) и соединить между собой

⠀~многим знакома эта сладость из детства, но далеко не у всех есть мултипекари/орешницы 😀
Если хотите уменьшить кбжу орешков в 2 раза, замените крем на перечисленные выше пп-начинки, а сахар на подсластитель) ⠀
