  • My deadlift training, how should I describe it? Let's just say, it was not all that good.
 And I do not know why but it's totally OK for me.
 I'm just trying to look at myself as one of my trainees, and if I do that, then it's logical that it may just not be better or different.
 It was a lot going on and still is a lot going on, especially Mental and I'm really sensitive.
 Most of you know what I mean, I do not want to list it again.
 There is something really positive about it, I did not get any back pain while lifting like the last two times. 👍🏽😊 My plan was to pull another 140 kg today.
 The single with 130 kg was quite heavy (Video 1), so I decided for 137.5 kg as the second single.  I did not even get this 1 cm from the floor.  I have tried it a second time, no chance 🤷
 After that I choose my back off's with easy weight .
 1 x 2 x 120 kg (Video 2)
 3 x 3 x 100 kg (Video 3)

Bench press after that was just also not the best.  There will be a post tomorrow.
 But it is always teh same when I am at the end of my period.  My body has not so much energy.
 One week out to the competition.
 Say next week is Taper.  Let's see what happens.
 I hope my period will end soon so I have more energy until the competition 🙏🙏🙏 I just take what is possible and that's it.  I still think again and again, I would need a coach.  Someone who can just look at it quite unemotionally and objectively.  #competitionprepp #sumodeadliftslove #goals

  • Smiling because itʼs weekend and my leg session went grrrrreat!!😍✨ Despite pain under my right foot (going to the doctor on monday..) it went really well during todays session. It was good contact and pump during it all, and Iʼm now looking forward to walk like a penguin tomorrow😂💪🏻 This was todays exercises 👇🏻

I really recommend nordic hamstring if you havenʼt tried it before. It gives a burning guarantee for sure!! My goal is to manage to do it controlled without and help from resistance band or support from my hands before new year, so workworkwork🔥🔥
Now itʼs time for some quality time with my aunt child, weʼre going out for some burgers and will enjoy some candy later🙊 What are you doing today? ❤️

🗓 Yes, January is a new year and a great opportunity to start fresh with new habits.⁣
⁣
⁣
🤔 Here is the thing if you make radical changes January 1 are you going to stick to them?⁣
⁣
Are you going to:⁣
⁣
⚖️ stick to a 1200 calorie diet⁣
⁣
🏋️🏻‍♀️ go to the gym twice a day 4 times a week for cardio and weight training?⁣
⁣
🌊Are you gonna pumble your body with a gallon of water every day?⁣
⁣
Probably not.😞⁣
⁣
🚰Can you wake up and have a glass of water?⁣
⁣
🥦🥕Can you add veggies to one meal a day?⁣
⁣
🧘🏻‍♀️Can you add the gym 2x a week?⁣
⁣
🍩 Can you pass on one snack a every other day?⁣
⁣
⁣
Here is what years of trial and error has shown me about weight loss:⁣
⁣
1️⃣ Losing weight is 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 work, but the process is 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦. Nothing worth having, ever came easily!⁣
⁣
2️⃣ You have to eat 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 food not "𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘵" foods...a salad is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 a meal, it can be on the side, but your🍑 needs more then iceberg lettuce to grow! Tell the Lettuce Gods not today.🙅🏻‍♀️⁣
⁣
3️⃣ You have to eat less energy than what you body is putting out--- this is your calorie deficit (food-work) 🍔-🛠⁣
⁣
4️⃣ You gotta move more!! Whether this is dancing in your living room💃🏻, walking around outside every couple ours for a break at work🚶🏻‍♀️, or hitting the gym. Move to earn that 🍑⁣
⁣
5️⃣ Do these in tiny goals add a veggie🥕 to a meal, go for a walk, pass on the donut 🍩 Tuesday/Thursday. Meet small goals first.⁣

6️⃣ You have to keep doing all these things over and over again- that's the hard part..3 steps, over and over again....♻️⁣

7️⃣ Give yourself some FREAKING grace  when it doesn't go to plan that day!!🙏🏼 No one is perfect and Rome wasn't built in a day. You endugled at dinner with your girls? Cool---that's ok! 👯‍♀️⁣

Meeting small goals along the way is so much easier to achieve... May you revisit these goals in February and add to them or increase them! Make it achievable to you can work towards your bigger goal!⁣

I'm not going to lie i feel like I'm currently in the best shape I've EVER been in since starting my fitness journey and I'm pretty buzzing with how much I've achieved this year in terms of my physique and more importantly my mindset and you know what it's more than acceptable to give yourself a tap on the back and tell yourself your friggin smashing it from time to time why shouldn't you be your own number one fan cause if you ain't cheering yourself on, who is?..⁣

In the lead up to Christmas my goals are to keep smashing it, continue enjoying myself and get strong AF without any restriction just like the rest of the year! How it should be right?..⁣

I used to be one of those girls who were obsessed with how much they weighed, but now I go on how I feel and my gosh it makes such a difference. ⁣

End of the day our fitness journeys are supposed to be enjoyable we are in it for the long haul girls and if they arent, well I'm ngl your doing it wrong Angel's! 🖤

  • Getting it in early today 🤪. Doing an event at the Capital City Mall later today.  45 minutes of walking, HR target of 130 - incline 15%. Completed core exercises after (4 sets, 2 exercises). If you swipe through the photos, you’ll see the major inaccuracies of going based off what the machine is telling you and what your fitness tracker says 😒. Definitely more accurate on my Apple Watch.  Here’s to hoping I have some semblance of a voice for later 🤞

Complete the reps  in the minute, use the following time for rest until the next minute begins. 
4-6 rounds LEGGO 😈

1. Burpees x12
2. Kettle bell swings x25
3. Push ups x23
4. Commandos x20 (10 per arm)
5. Reverse lunges with lateral raise x15
