  • ☀️Since getting home from tour and thanks to some cooler Tennessee summer days, I’ve been able to spend time finding zen under an umbrella on my back porch. It’s a great place to answer email or binge watch my current fav thing on the internet (which I reveal at the bottom of this post). On this porch I write songs with the cicadas, enjoy herbal refreshments😉, watch the sun rise with ☕️, the moon rise with 🍷. Grateful to have this peaceful space where I can think through project planning, including how to share my new single and video, “We Belong” out now everywhere - tap the link in my Instagram profile to watch🧜🏻‍♀️🤘🏻💜🎶🙏🏻

  • Announcement time.....
My husband Jonathan and I live and we are raising our family in Goodlettsville. Years ago we would drive by and look in the windows of our current retail space prior to opening this location and dreamed of what this space could be...almost every Sunday. We knew it had potential. We had started our business two years prior in Gallatin and felt it was time to bring our business home and grow it there.
After sharing our plans with a friend, he asked if we would be interested in renting a section of our store to The Wreath Stand. We did and both stores have grown tremendously.
Nashville and the surrounding areas have been so good to us. We expanded in January of 2017 and now it is time to expand again!
Since we have many great products that we currently do not even have room to display we need more space.
So The Wreath Stand will be opening a store of their own and we are bringing in more great products and merchandise to our current Goodlettsville location to meet all of your design needs. We are adding several new lines and expanding our handcrafted furniture selection. We could not be more excited!
We wish The Wreath Stand all the best at their new location.
Look for our FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IN SEPTEMBER. It is going to be amazing!

Patsy Cline got a $22,000 royalty check from Decca Records in February 1962. The year before had given her the break she’d been looking for since “Walkin’ After Midnight” hit in 1957: Despite a car wreck that nearly killed her, she’d gotten her first No. 1 single with “I Fall to Pieces.” Its follow-up “Crazy” would become a classic, even though Leroy Van Dyke’s massive “Walk on By” kept it out of the top spot of the Billboard country chart. She’d become an Opry member, and, when the check came in, she was part of a Johnny Cash tour that also featured George Jones (and a teen-aged Barbara Mandrell). I’ll put some concert ads in my Story.
.
The royalties allowed Patsy and her husband to put a down payment on her “dream home” at 815 Nella Drive in Goodlettsville. They closed on the house on May 23, 1962.
.
Patsy threw herself into decorating the new four-bedroom house, carpeting some rooms and ordering custom-made furniture and drapes. She dubbed the basement den, which had a wet bar and opened onto a stone patio, the “music room.” She had a couch made for the living room.
.
She lived there less than a year.
.
After Patsy’s death, Dick sold the house to singer Wilma Burgess. A year, later, Burgess chanced upon a rainy-day fund Cline had hidden behind a brick in the den fireplace. Burgess also wondered if the house might be haunted: “You’d be in an upstairs room and the toilet downstairs would flush by itself,” she told Cline biographer Ellis Nassour. “Doors would open and close by themselves.” Burgess sold the house in 1972.
.
The current owners, who purchased the house in 2011, have decorated the basement in period style and turned it into a short-term rental. You can stay there for $250 a night.

  • I don’t play favorites, but she’s one of my favorites ♥️ Luck of the draw, one of my long-term lash clients hit a big shedding cycle right before Thanksgiving 😕 To avoid stressing her fledgling lashes, and to lift her eye shape, we backed off our length and thickness to create this airy look with pop for photos 📸 during our next appointment, we’ll focus on darkening her base and increasing length. For her Christmas appointment, we’ll have plenty of mature, natural lashes to go BIG ✨ By balancing and working with her body’s cycle, she is able to have lash enhancement year- round without having to take breaks 💁🏼‍♀️ #nashville #nashvillelife #goodlettsvillelashes #goodlettsville #lashgoals #lashlife #xtremelashes #lashes #thetnlamb #msashleyevelyn

  • Keith Whitley and Lorrie Morgan bought the house at 108 Garrett Drive in Goodlettsvillle about three weeks before they married in 1986. Looking back, it doesn’t look like much for two singers who made the impact they did. But in the fall of 1986, Whitley only had one Top 10 hit, “Ten Feet Away.” Morgan was a Grand Ole Opry member like her father, George Morgan, but she’d released four singles on three labels and none of them had gotten near the Top 40.
.
Big changes were coming, though. Whitley’s career was on an upswing, and 1988’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” would start a string of five consecutive No. 1 singles for him. Morgan and her husband became labelmates when she, too, signed with RCA, and there she found her groove. Her first RCA single, “Trainwreck of Emotion,” hit the Top 20; follow-up “Dear Me,” released in April 1989, would go Top 10.
.
But there was a darker side in the Whitley-Morgan house, too. Whitley had a severe alcohol problem. On May 9, 1989, Whitley’s brother found him dead in his bed, where he’d apparently been drinking and watching TV. An autopsy revealed his blood alcohol to be .477 (.30 is considered a potentially lethal level).
.
Whitley’s death prematurely ended a career that gets seriously consideration for the Country Music Hall of Fame, despite its brevity. “I’m No Stranger to the Rain,” on the charts at the time of the singer’s death, won the CMA Single of the Year in 1989. A duet with Morgan called Til a Tear Becomes a Rose” won Vocal Event the following year. Whitley had two more No. 1 singles after his death, and enough charting hits from what he left behind to suggest he would have been one of the biggest acts of the 1990s country boom had he successfully put his demons behind him.
.
The Garrett Drive house went on the market a year later, described as a “rare find in a great neighborhood.” Morgan finally sold the house some years later, though her daughter, Morgan Whitley (whom Keith adopted) later bought it and owned it for a number of years.

The Garrett Drive house went on the market a year later, described as a “rare find in a great neighborhood.” Morgan finally sold the house some years later, though her daughter, Morgan Whitley (whom Keith adopted) later bought it and owned it for a number of years.

  • Pretty accurate for the last year or so of my life! You’re doing what!?!? But as I did what was best for me and changed my life, people saw that and began to respect that. Sure I lost people who didn’t get it or couldn’t separate what I was doing in my life from themselves as my own choices about my life, but I chose to heal myself and grow above all else. Now the people on the sidelines seek out my services to help them heal and to help them learn to heal themselves! Spiritual growth and trauma healing aren’t a walk in the park. It’s hard work, and it hurts as you grow through things sometimes. On the flip side it’s 💯 worth it and then some! If you are interested in my services send me a dm or visit my website (link in bio) to learn more about my services including my most popular services Reiki, Regenesis Hypnotherapy, and self growth workshops!
