It is a pretty common misconception that eating late at night automatically makes you put on weight…This is a MYTH that actually comes from studies done on mice, but our genetic makeup is completely different. 🐭😄

HOWEVER, studies have also shown that people who do eat late at night are more likely to consume more calories during the day, due to a lack of healthy options available. Some people may also find that eating late at night can cause restless sleep, indigestion and heartburn.

So if you are someone who perhaps works late or has late-night commitments, do not panic, eating late will not make you gain weight. Just make sure that you are prepared and always have a healthy food option available.😋❤️
