  • I was thinking about the first time I stepped foot into the gym. I signed up and didn’t go back for months. I was so scared and honestly I didn’t know where to start or how to start. The only thing I knew and was of, is that I wanted to make a change for myself.

I had reached a point in my life where nothing was making me happy. I felt weak, fragile and I was neglecting my body. Even though I was scared, I took action and started my first ever workout not really knowing what I was doing, but nonetheless I just did it.

Training truly became my escape, my therapy, my me time. The time I take out of my day to look after myself, physically and mentally.

It’s so easy to focus on how you physically look that you tend to lose sight of why you’re working out in the first place. Your image will change and fluctuate all the time but your mental happiness is what’s important to sustain.

Working out isn’t a chore, it shouldn’t be a daunting task and you should really stop saying that you hate it.

Revert your mentality and shift the focus on seeing your workouts as the time you better yourself mentally & physically.

Speaking of happiness - yes we gon’ talk about it. ⁣ ⁣
Over these past couple of months, I’ve been filling my cup with love and happiness. How? By putting myself first. ⁣
⁣
I realized that because my cup was filled with happiness and love after focusing on my damn self for once, that I was just sharing my happiness and love for other people - instead of trying my hardest to do what makes THEM happy. ⁣
⁣
All my life, I’ve just did that. Do what makes other people happy, but not focusing on my happiness. This just lead to the wrong types of people in my life - individuals that would make me feel guilty if i didn’t want to do something. I was like their puppet they could control. I thought it was an issue with me, when in reality, those people just don’t know how to have healthy and happy relationships. They probz have quick turn arounds with friends, etc. ⁣

SO - focus on yourself and do what makes you truly happy. Surround yourself with people that don’t guilt you, that don’t talk about others (when they preach about positivity etc elsewhere) and individuals that are focused on your growth and you, not appearance and themselves. ✨⁣

He loves to lay DIRECTLY on my uterus incision and dig his knuckles in (I almost pass out from the pain every time 🙃)

Baby boy is now able to open and close his eyes and I’ve felt one set of hiccups so far. Which are pretty comical to experience 😂

He goes CRAZY when I eat savory things (loves them burgers just like momma🍔)

My biggest cravings right now is any hot sandwich + apples and bananas

Acid reflux is SILLLLYYYYYYY and I currently am getting ~3hrs of sleep each night 😴

He is 2lbs 1oz and measuring at the top of the “normal” percentile!

Putting on socks and shoes officially requires assistance (from both the surgery and the belly 😂)

My nails are LUCIOUS and my skin is the best it’s looked in a while 😏

Recovery from surgery was been....hard...to say the least. But I’m so grateful baby boy is literally thriving in there right now!

So at the beginning of every month I do a self check in to see how I am progressing fitness wise. 
And I was super lazy this month and only did it yesterday. 
But I felt super good. While all my measurements had gone up the scales had gone down. 
But I was also bloated and on my monthlies so it was not exact with how much progress had been made. 
But I was able to recognise that what I once thought of as bad is not actually as bad because there are a lot of different factors involved. 
I use to hate the scales, would avoid them and sometimes I still do because I haven’t seen big changes. 
I would feel as though I was doing everything right so why weren’t they going down but now I am starting to see very small changes as huge wins. 
I recognise that my scale weight should not be the only thing I focus on. 
I need to make sure that I am happy with how I am feeling and looking without having a scale tell me I should feel happy. 
So this month I felt so amazingly proud of myself because I am start to see changes even though they are taking a hell of a long time and am appreciate all the effort I have put in. 
But I’m not after a quick fix I am after something which will change my whole life so it is going to take a while to get to place where I feel equally happy with how I feel inside and out.

Питер оказался для Сибиряка коварным  городом - с одной стороны он принял нас, как своих - но в замен он видимо решил забрать здоровье👇

Живем мы в Питере около 7 лет, сразу скажу город по моему мнению лучший в России❗️,
^
Итак, после переезда я был  спортивным  и активным человеком, ещё в первые два года я практически каждый день бегал вечерами по 7-10 км. + силовая нагрузка,
^
Но с каждым годом мне приходилось уменьшать нагрузку, т.к. организм с ней уже не мог справляться,
^
Я искал причины - обследовался - но диагноз один - ⚡️здоров⚡️ и вот выясняется, что нехватка солнца в Питере + воздействие климата - приводит к дефициту важных веществ для нормального функционирования организма человека,
^
Мне кажется здесь не вредно жить только коренным Петербуржцам - т.к. они уже родились в этом климате..и то большой вопрос❓
^
Год назад перелом руки на ровном месте- именно тогда я задумался серьезно о причинах недомоганий - ведь кости у меня были всегда крепкие- да и я ещё не совсем старый 👨‍🦳
^
И буквально неделю назад мне друзья, правда из Москвы, посоветовали сдать анализ на Витамин Д - у них кстати дефицит выявили тоже 😫
^
В итоге я сдал и выявили дефицит - и что делать теперь?:
🧩пить витамины и жить дальше?
🧩переезжать в другой регион?
^
Ведь мы месяц назад отдыхали на юге - и даже это не помогло накопить столь важный витамин 🥺 - а в общем удавалось по два раза в год выезжать на юг✈️ ☀️
^
У супруги тоже дефицит, и она настроена на переезд❗️
^
Но я пока не уверен, что готов опять менять жизнь - хотя здоровье важнее- да и куда ❓ехать❓
