Fried Apple and Almond Butter Oatmeal (Serves 1)
For the fried apples:
1 apple, chopped (I used fiji)
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp cinnamon
For the oatmeal:
1/3 cup gluten-free oats
1 tsp chia
2/3 cups almond milk , or other plant-based milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom
1–2 tsp maple syrup , to taste
1 tsp almond butter
1 tbsp coconut yogurt (optional)
Chop apple into bite sized cubes. Add to a frying pan with 1 tsp coconut oil and bring to medium-high heat. Sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom and cook apples, stirring often until warmed and softened, approx. 5-10 minutes.
In a saucepan add oats, chia, almond milk, cinnamon, cardamom and pinch of salt. Whisk to combine. Bring to simmer and cook oats for 5-10 minutes, or until desired porridge consistency (optional to add more almond milk). Sweeten with maple syrup to taste.
Pour oatmeal into bowl and top with chopped apple. Add spoonful of almond butter, and a dollop of coconut yogurt. (optional).
So happy to able to get back to the gym without feeling guilty for not studying! .
I can’t wait to dedicate some serious time (and calories) over the holidays to working on my strength 💪🏼 and building muscle mass (particularly in the posterior chain), which has been my goal for the past couple of months 🤩 I also need to pack to go home which I’m procrastinating like crazy on 😂

Baby it’s cold outside 🌬 ... und ich trainiere einfach so oft es irgendwie geht, noch immer im Sportbh ☃️ Schwer zu erklären, aber vorallem beim Rücken oder Schulter workout spüre ich so meine Muskeln irgendwie am meisten 🤷🏼♀️
Außerdem war es früher immer so sehr mein Wunsch bauchfrei trainieren zu können, seit 1 Jahr fühle ich mich auch so echt wohl - vorallem kennt man mich glaub ich im Gym nur noch so 😂

Cinnamon Sugar Pancakes (Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Keto-Friendly)
1/2 cup almond flour
2 tbsp coconut flour
1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon (depending on how much you love cinnamon)
1 tbsp coconut sugar (can omit for keto options)
Whisk together flours, baking soda, salt, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. In a separate bowl beat eggs, then add vanilla and almond milk. Combine wet & dry ingredients. Spoon 3 TBSP amounts onto a hot, greased pan. Makes about 5-6 medium sized pancakes. Top with sliced apples, honey/maple, cinnamon!

New Year’s is just around the corner and it’s that time of year when everyone makes the resolutions to lose weight, get fit, etc. Gyms become full of people for about a month to two months and then slowly those people disappear. When you make your NY resolution to be “get fit” or become a healthier you, why do you get out of the routine? What makes you lose that motivation that you have at the beginning of the year? People often ask me what motivates me everyday and I am not always motivated. I don’t always have the energy to show up and work, but I do it anyway. I do it for me. I do it to be a better, healthier Emily. I know that if I don’t show up, no one else can do the work for me and I know I’ll feel worse if I don’t. Set goals, start small. Have someone hold you accountable. Don’t allow yourself to succumb to those excuses your head will scream at you. You can do this. 20-30 minutes a day is all it takes. You don’t need a gym. You can do it at home. There are no excuses and you don’t have to start January 1. Start today because the most important person in your life is you. You are worth it. Much love friends! Go get it! 💪🖤 •

¿Te duele el hombro al hacer flexiones? 🤔 Quizá no habías tenido en cuenta este detalle. ➡️ Colocar las manos demasiado rectas y llevando la presión a la zona interna de las manos ocasiona un tendencia a la rotación interna del hombro. Esta rotación puede inducirnos molestias el propio hombro. ⁉️¿Solución? 👍 intenta llevar la presión de la ejecución a la parte externa de la manos. De manera optativa puedes rotarlas también hacía fuera (a mí me ayuda) aunque no es imprescindible. ✌️Llevar la presión hacia la parte externa de las manos ocasiona una mayor tendencia a la rotación externa del hombro y, en consecuencia, un menor riego de molestia.

Growth, development, change and bettering oneself starts with the decision to reach out and actually educate oneself. For me knowledge is power. I love researching, reading and learning. I love experimenting and trying things for myself. I love helping others and therefore always try to have the means necessary to help others. Every purchase I make I think long and hard about. What is it for, who can I benefit with it, what is the process behind it. This recent order is by far my favourite because of how much growth, knowledge and empowerment I can receive from it. .
Side note: I was very hesitant to share this book with you because of how sketchy it seems. Trust me, the cover makes me cringe too. But don’t judge a book by its cover, if it’s a load of crap, I’ll let you know. If it’s beneficial, I’ll share as I go along. 🖤
This is a typical Christmas Day calorie count - 5,241 calories!!! 😱😱😱 Isn’t it shocking to see the amount of calories added up?! Not to mention the amount of uncounted calories that are consumed in the run up to the big day with those Christmas parties, mince pies, mulled wine etc!
Going completely off plan over Christmas and not being mindful of the amount of calories you are eating or drinking will inevitably lead to weight gain!
Rather than going completely off plan over the festive period, you may wish to ‘step-up’ instead. This will allow you to increase your calorie intake, will broaden your food options and allow you to enjoy the odd snack too!
If stepping up is something you want to discuss, feel free to mention it at your next weigh-in and we will help you come up with a plan to survive Christmas and avoid piling on too many lbs!
Whatever your diet plans for over the festive period, remember to be mindful of your calories. You will be thankful in January!

So many of people live a life that showcases all of our fears.
You may be stuck in a job that you hate because you fear that if you leave you may not like the next job.
You may stay in relationships because you rationalize it and say i have invested so much time I need to just stay put !
You fear implementing new daily actions to work on your goals so they become simply just ideas !
Don't let fear rule you.

Earl Grey Spiced Masala Chai 🥰
- 2 bags black tea (I use decaf earl grey)
- 1 star anise pod
- 1 cinnamon stick or 2 1/2 tsp cinnamon - 4 dried and crushed cardamom pods
- 1 one-inch piece of peeled and grated ginger (1 tablespoon of dry ginger)
- 2 cups plant milk (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 2 drops monk fruit sweetener
(Other options to sweeten: maple syrup, honey, stevia) .
Heat all ingredients (besides the sweetener) in a small saucepan over medium heat. After two minutes, lower to a simmer and heat for 7 more minutes. (You’re not looking for a boil-just below.)
Strain mixture into a cozy mug, add sweetener, sip and savor. xoxo

🔅THE GYM USED TO OWN ME🔅.
• I’d freak out if I didn’t workout everyday.
• 6-7 days a week strenuous lifting and cardio.
• Zero recovery time.
• I’d put the gym before everything.
Now if I miss a day or even 2 I don’t feel guilty, actually my body feels so much better! And my next workout is usually very intense, amazing what recovery does🙌🏼 Destroying yourself in the gym 6-7 days a week is completely unnecessary and very taxing on your body. •

Keki için: 🍊1 adet portakal 🍊 2 yumurta
🍊 2 yemek kaşığı süt 🍊 1 yemek kaşığı hindistan cevizi yağı
🍊 1 yemek kaşığı keçiboynuzu tozu
🍊 5-6 yemek kaşığı tam buğday unu
🍊 1 çay kaşığı karbonat
🍊 1 tatlı kaşığı tarçın
🍊 1 adet portakal 🍊1 yemek kaşığı bal
🍊 1 tatlı kaşığı buğday nişastası
🧡 Portakalın suyunu sıkıp, kabuğunu rendeleyin ve diğer malzemeler ile karıştırın. Muffin kalıplarına döküp 170 derece fırında 25 dakika kadar pişirin. Jölesi için bir portakalın suyunu sıkın, nişasta ile orta ateşte kıvam alana kadar pişirin ve soğumaya bırakın. Ilıklaştıktan sonra balı ilave edin ve keklerinizin üzerine dökün. Not: Bal ilave ettikten sonra jöleyi bekletmeyin, katılaşıp dökülmeyebilir.
