What a careless mistakes I had made for this Pumkin & Charcoal Flaxseed Bread. 😅
I hand mixed two dough separately, the yellow dough was using pure pumpkin purée as the hydration the other half with 2% of food grade charcoal powder. But I made a mistake on the sea salt calculation, end up it has 4.4% instead of 2.2.. 😓 this explain why it take sooooo long for the final proof, it took more than doubles of my usual time 😅
This let me fully understand the theory: excess of salt in bread dough, the yeast is retarded to the point that there is a marked reduction in volume. 😂
20% Apple yeast water levain. Pumpkin purée 100%+++ for the yellow dough (started with 100%, add in more purée by feel during the hand mixing). Have to think of a way to eat it. 😅

Save For Your Weekly Grocery List 📝 ⠀
3 cups @bobsredmill all-purpose flour⠀
1 cup organic cane sugar ⠀
1 tsp salt⠀
1 tbsp baking powder⠀
1 3/4 cup almond milk, unsweetened (warm) ⠀
1 cup refined coconut oil, melted⠀
2 tsp vanilla extract⠀
4 tbsp lemon juice⠀
2 tbsp lemon zest⠀
4 tbsp @bobsredmill poppy seeds⠀
1 cup organic powdered sugar⠀
1-2 tbsp lemon juice⠀
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9"x 5" loaf pan with coconut oil and lightly dust with flour and set aside.⠀
2. In a large bowl whisk together warm almond milk, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon zest.⠀
3. Next add cane sugar to the liquid and whisk. Then add salt, baking powder and mix.⠀
4. Gradually add flour 1 cup at a time to the liquid, whisking in between.⠀
5. Once batter is mixed well and is smooth...To the batter, add 4 tbsp of poppy seeds and mix until well incorporated.⠀
6. Grab your greased pan and pour batter to the pan, spread evenly.⠀
7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan at least 10 minutes.⠀
9. For the glaze simply place powered sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl and whisk together until smooth.⠀
10. Pour the glaze on the loaf and spread it around to fully cover the top of the bread. Allow the glaze to harden for 15-20 minutes, slice and...⠀

Happy pie season 🍁! I decided to finally embrace my pie crust phobia and get amongst it. First try. Definitely didn’t let the apples sit long enough, nor did I add enough sugar... Ceker Ayam ala Dimsum
Bahan Dimsum Ceker Ayam :
15 potong ceker ayam
6 sdm kecap asin
1 sdt lada putih
1 liter air es/air dingin
3 buah pekak
1,5 liter air rebusan
Bahan bumbu Dimsum Ceker Ayam :
6 siung bawang merah, cincang halus
4 siung bawang putih, cincang halus
1 sdt jahe cincang
3 sdm saus tiram
3 sdm taosi
2 sdm kecap asin
2 sdm minyak wijen
2 sdm saus tomat
3 sdm gula pasir
3/m sdt garam
150 ml air kaldu ayam
2 sdm tepung kanji, larutkan dengan 5 sdm air
2 batang daun bawang, iris melintang
2 batang cabai merah, iris melintang
3 sdm minyak goreng
Cara membuat Dimsum Ceker Ayam :
* Rendam ceker dalam campuran kecap asin dan garam, diamkan selama 1 jam.
* Panaskan minyak, goreng ceker sampai kering.
* Setelah matang, tiriskan ceker dan masukkan ke dalam air es.
* Rebus ceker menggunakan panci presto dengan 1, 5 liter air rebusan, tambahkan pekak, dan masak sampai ceker lunak. Setelah lunak, tiriskan.
Just out of the oven, the wafting aroma of freshly baked sugar free, yeast free, spelt bread for weekend breakfast/brunch. A nice surprise for awaits my sleeping husband.
I tried making a different shake with this one, next time I’ll do a plaited loaf.

Specifically, @icingimages and their #flexfrostfabric sheets and teaching me how to use #cricut to cut out fondant. 🎂The delicate edible lacework was achieved using the #flexfrostlace technique. Of the 3 edible lace techniques I’ve tried, this by far is the best one. •
✍🏿 Normally I use a Cricut to cutout templates then cut my fondant/gumpaste work by hand. This time I used a Cricut to cut out the name. I maybe doing this more in the future as it was a real time saver & I was able to produce a more complex handwriting style. •

I'm SO relieved every time I've submitted something I've worked hard on, and then two minutes later I'm all antsy because I feel like I don't have a purpose... Anyway, after fidgeting around for a bit I was able to channel some of my spillover energy into some banana bread. Which made me feel a lot better because I was able to use up all our sad bananas and have an awesome fika!
Now, if you're looking for a super sweet, dessert, type of banana bread you might want to keep scrolling, but if you want one that's healthy, tastes great, and makes great lunch box material - look no further! I used this recipe by @drizzleanddip as a base
But swapped the coconut sugar for maple syrup (since there was a note about the bread not being particularly sweet I opted to go for a 1 to 1 conversion), replaced half of the flour with whole wheat, and made a crumb coat out of oatmeal, cinnamon and margarine because *everything* gets better with a crumb coat!

First, I had improvisation on the kitchen, the results are in front of you. I finished baking half an hour before my tennis game and Lea’s lesson. The aroma of the cake spread all over the apartment and Lea insisted on taking cake with us 😄😂🥰. So I grabbed hot cake, our rackets, backpack me and Lea, and we ran out to the 🚘
Honestly speaking, when we came to the court with a cake, everyone was a little surprised, but its fragrant smell could not leave them indifferent, and everyone got a piece. 🍰
Today’s game was incredible I enjoyed every point. And it ended a second before the the rainfall ⛈🌨💦
So, there was no need in the shower after 🤣😂😅
