HOPE - Jesus is our hope. Jesus is why we have hope. We have hope in the promised Savior.
LOVE - God is love. I pray that we love the way God truly loved us. Let’s love the ones who are hard to love.
JOY - My joy is not in anything or anyone but in Christ Jesus. My joy is not fragile because my joy is Christ.
PEACE - He is the prince of peace. He’s peace surpasses understanding. Peace is not the absence of something filled but resting Christ.
Turn to Christ he is our hope, our love, our joy and our peace. Advent is an adventure in knowing Christ.

Now that 2019 is wrapping up, I am able to reflect on my creative journey a bit. I have been working on these letters all year, which is crazy to me. I really feel like it’s a visual journey on how my style has progressed. I hope to keep refining it as I continue into 2020 ✨

I remember listening to this song in my childhood from an old cassette on the tape recorder (does anyone remember those? I used to enjoy winding the cassette with a pencil if the reel got loose😁) . .
It was from a set of Christmas carols for kids, so this song was called "Good Christian Kids Rejoice", a variant of the song ""In dulci jubilo" (Latin for "In sweet rejoicing"), which is a traditional Christmas carol. In its original setting, the carol is a macaronic text of German and Latin dating from the Middle Ages. Subsequent translations into English, such as J. M. Neale's arrangement "Good Christian Men, Rejoice" have increased its popularity, and Robert Pearsall's 1837 macaronic translation is a mainstay of the Christmas Nine Lessons and Carols repertoire."
