One of the sketchier hikes I’ve done, and although this section wasn’t very long, it required you to climb up and down on chains, ropes and ladders. The spray of the waterfall soaked everything you needed to anchor onto and made it even more difficult. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, but for those who are willing to tackle it, the trails beyond this section are worth every step💛
Still dreaming of this morning🛶
I should be done posting fall photos by now, but I just can’t help myself. Guess I’m still holding on because I’ve never been much of a winter person, and I fall apart when it gets cold😂 Looking forward to challenging myself a little this coming season, and trying new things❄️ Photo taken by @angelaliggs💫

Moving to Australia was a leap of faith for their relationship, so when work commitments beckoned them back to the United States, it felt right for Shaina and PJ to take another lovely leap of faith just before they left, this time into married life. Now on the blog!

HI Friends! I am back from Mexico!
(also reunited with my cats 😻😍😻)
.
Things accomplished last weekend:
1. Ate tacos every day 🌮
2. Drank ALL the margs 🍹
3. Planned out 2020 for EC Nutrition
4. Spent time in person with my coaches and friends that I normally only get to text, call, and video chat with
.
So basically I accomplished everything I set out to do and had the best weekend.
Life Tip: go find and drink a hibiscus marg
Everything tastes better outside. Do you agree? I do. Actually for the first time ever I’ve been thinking why? Have you ever thought about it? For me outdoors and nature symbolise some kind of peace and quite. Nature calmes me and it is the place where l feel I can bee the most present version of myself. So ofcourse everything tastes better outside. My daily challange is to try eating without any distractions, focus on the food and be more present while eating. Just me and the food✌🏽 Cheers for the new week!🥂💙 Photo by @apeqo
Oh how much I came to adore Rome in such a short amount of time ❤

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like without Lilo & Stitch but then I stop because duh, it would’ve been sh*t. Haha

Lessons I learn every year that I climb Wy’east (on a work day specifically, when time is of the essence) in the early season but still fail to incorporate 🤦🏻♀️ 1) You might still be in spring/early summer climbing mindset, but the mountain conditions are definitely not—start earlier! You’re not going to be as fast as you think! 2) In the same vein, bring the proper gear; you still kinda suck at skiing so strap on those damn snowshoes no matter how much you hate them—would you rather swim in snow or float on it, dumbass? 3) If you decide against the snowshoes, DEFINITELY start super early and don’t forget your gaiters for all the postholing you’re going to do! This was basically my internal dialogue this morning after literally swimming in snow from Palmer lift house to Devil’s Kitchen and having giant ice chunks in my boots because I didn’t wear gaiters 😂 I ultimately bailed on my summit attempt due to time (which was such a bummer due to perfect weather conditions!), but it was still a beautiful morning on the mountain. Maybe I’ll actually learn these lessons and follow my own advice on the first early season climb next year...

especially in this season , i keep these two helpers with me . after i touch a pin pad at the store , wiping down shopping carts , spraying surfaces before changing a diaper , after shaking hands with people , after coughing or sneezing ETC .
.
.
first used as a pesticide , triclosan has made its way into a lot of antibacterial products . when on skin , enters the blood stream and causes hormonal disruption & even enters breast milk . because triclosan acts as an antibiotic , some studies show that it may the reason common bacteria are becoming harder to treat . .
.
thankful i can keep my cleaning products and our bodies , actually CLEAN 🌿🙌🏻💯

Do you ever think of where you were standing when something significant happened in your life? I do. I think it’s important to look back. To remember how you felt, what you were thinking, the choices you were making, and revisit those moments. People often warn about dwelling on the past but I believe there is strength in those memories. Those locations. Those moments in time. They remind us of our history with God. Have you ever thought about that? I did as I drove back to this spot. I walk through the woods ducking underneath branches, following a gently worn path, searching for this stone. I smile and step onto it feeling it wobble underneath my boots. Just like before. I stand quietly and look around.
The trees still rise from the same ground.
The wind still whispers through the branches and my hair, which is now much shorter than it was then.
The Sunbeams still dance over the fallen leaves.
And although the surroundings have not changed that much.....
I, I have changed immensely. I’m so humbled to say that I look more like Jesus today. Not because of my greatness, but because of God’s immeasurable mercy and goodness. I could cry just thinking about it. I have never really understood grace or, - dare I say it - love....
And I’m still learning, but as a smile plays at the corners of my mouth, I look up, I feel hope growing in my heart. This location holds hope, new beginnings, and love and so does my God.
Hallelujah.

New calendar for 2020 just arrived.
30x45cm on premium art paper.
DM if you are interested.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? #focus#faith

It's been a week of it. Thank you Nana for holding down the fort and allowing me to just 'be' for a while. Winter sun on my face, sea air on my skin, podcast in my ears, rugged ground under my feet, beauty all around me...the best way to be!

This is one of my favourite local gems. It's great finding scenic spots when traveling but even more satisfying finding places you never knew existed right around where you normally visit.

One of my favorite parts of Vietnam was visiting this remote village a couple hours outside Hanoi. We were invited into one of the huts to try some banana wine & tea. As we enjoyed the very strong wine, the lady told us stories of the war and suckered me into buy some hand made shirts. This was a great experience and a moment I’ll never forget.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to... If you are going there during winter time, I strongly suggest you to buy clamps for your boots as the place is very icy!
Sunset over half frozen pond in #Reykjavik . When the sun behind the mountain, the place became even more colder. Therefore a pint was needed to warm up 🤣🤣🤣

@hallgrimskirkja church is Reykjavik's landmark and it can be seen from almost everywhere in the city. It is.one.of the unique church in the world and architecture looks amazing!
It was designed by Guòjón Samúelsson in 1937. Construction of the church started in 1945 and completed in 1986. Must see place. You can also take a lift to the top of the church to see the capital.
