They will be raised knowing that yes their mum is different but they will know how to not treat or look at me or others differently. They will be raised to understand what a disability is, and what inclusion means.
They will learn the whole meaning to what paraplegic means and what's involved. Paityn does sort of understand that her mummy needs to do things a certain way, and I honestly do not see a issue in that what so ever. Spinal cord/ disability awareness to me, is such a huge, incredible thing. Our children are our future and they deserve to know everything 💫
🔮 PEACE doesn't mean being in a place without noise away from stress and problems, Peace is being in the middle of the whirlwind and that there is calm in your heart ♥. I believe that there is no greater spiritual growth than to understand that happiness is an attitude and that we can be in the midst of chaos and yet be calm with yourself.
It is simply the art of being happy.
The art of being happy that should be an obligation in the lives of all of us.
Letting go of what is around you cannot change and stick more to what your heart tells you. If someone hurts you, never lose your eccency, that recognizing you is the key to your self protection. Si crees que es más ‘espiritual’ no ver la televisión porque crea problemas en tu cerebro, eso está bien, pero si juzgas a quienes todavía la ven, entonces estás en una trampa del ego.
Si crees que es más “espiritual” evitar chismes o los medios de comunicación, pero juzgas a aquellos que leen estas cosas, entonces estás en una trampa del ego.
Si crees que es más ‘espiritual’ hacer Yoga, convertirse en vegetariano, comprar solo alimentos orgánicos, comprar cristales, reiki, meditación, usar ropa “hippies”, visitar templos y leer libros sobre iluminación espiritual, pero enjuicias a quien no hace ésto, entonces tú estás atrapado en una trampa del ego.
Estar siempre consciente para sentirte superior. La idea de que tú eres superior es la indicación más grande que te encuentras en una trampa de tus egos.
El ego quiere venir a través de la puerta de atrás. Tendrás una idea noble, cómo empezar el yoga y luego se tuerce para servir a su objetivo de sentirte superior a los demás.

Every year I promise myself "not doing winter" ❄️⛄️ ever again.
Yet, every year I keep finding myself in a minus temperature browsing photos from warm days. 🙈
So here I am, dropping some sunshine into your feed.
We aren’t made to be perfect.
We’re made to be forgiven.
There is no shame in spending the rest of your life asking God back into your heart over & over & over again. I’ve been in the groove of life the past few weeks and I’m definitely feeling it. Outwardly I feel great, happy, & busy but inwardly when I don’t put God first there’s always that lingering emptiness that tugs on my heart asking to let Him in.
With Him is when I find true joy yet I still slack off, sleep in, & scroll social media before I grab the Bible & spend quality time with him.
➡️It’s funny how the things we need to do in order to be fulfilled are often the things we don’t do because they don’t give us instant gratification.⬅️
I spent this morning being present with Him on the way to work. Allowing the Holy Spirit to do its work through my daily worship/karaoke sesh with @forkingandcountry
I’m determined to get back into the healthy nourishing groove of an early wake up, having my superfoods, reading the Bible, & being present in Him FIRST thing.
Remember as you go into this week that you’re never too far gone for a God who has no limitations. YOU ARE worth fighting for and He has already won that fight for you. Rest in that as you go throughout this week💓
Visioning. Do you do it?? Do you map out what you would like and how it would feel to have it? Do you restrict, limit or talk yourself out of things by coming up with what is more reasonable, getting stuck in the how and then giving up?? Visioning is a HUGE part of my being. It’s helped me gain focus, brought clarity and made things come to fruition. I really believe that visioning and getting into the vibration of having what you want is really the way to make things happen (well, there is execution and strategy that goes with that of course!) It all starts with a thought and the intention that comes with it. It’s the difference between thinking ‘I wonder where I will be one year from now?’ Vs ‘This is where I see myself one year from now.’ Part of visioning for me is creating vision boards and I must tell you it works. I pick images, words and whatever I feel drawn to without restriction or really pushing for the meaning behind each choice. I simply see something I like or what I’m drawn to and it goes on the board. I don’t question it, I don’t wonder what it means, for I know that will come later. (This is also how I set revenue targets by the way - which also come to fruition!) Case in point, when my boyfriend sent me a link to an oyster bar he was taking me to on our recent trip to NYC, I hit the link and began checking it out. Wouldn’t you know it, the photo on the website that he sent is actually on my vision board (in the photo from this post, the website image is on top, photo from my vision board on the bottom) You guys, it’s the SAME PHOTO………….surprised? The Bench is in! Well the bones of it! All the shifts and energy this end of the year is bringing! It took me a few weeks to have the time to get this beauty sanded and finished! Then it sat, cold.
Life has a way of taking you by the horns. I am experiencing a lot of changes in my family dynamic. Changes are good. There not always fun. It’s all a matter of perspective. Change helps you look at yourself, check in from the outside of,... kind of changes.
The energy of the end of this year feels so significant. So much to do!
In the meantime, check out these handmade tools I inherited through a local eBay seller.!🤓 They were from the original owner of the desk and the seller offered them for sale! Well, yeah! I love building a story with stuff like this! From what I gather,..this bench was being used for leather work. The owner made their own tools as well as bought tools for punching and engraver work. Some of the shackles I found hardest to break where the expectations of those closest to me. Those that truly cared about me and wanted me to "succeed" in life.
But there came a time when my path, my dreams, my mission, my happiness and fulfillment became more important to me than doing what others expected, even if it caused them pain.
I couldn't trade my life just so others were happy. They weren't the one experiencing my life.
Only I was directly experiencing it.
I kept my compassion, love, and respect for them, but no longer did I hold myself to achieving what they expected of me.
I kept an open mind to receive the advice of others, but ultimately I would be the one to make the decision and live by that.
Nobody can know your calling better than you, because you're the only one who can feel it and navigate life with that feeling.
Be open to receive advice from people who know you best and have more experience than you, but always feel into your heart and even if it leads you on an expected path, "that'll make all the difference."
And one day, when you're blessed to discover the Divinity within you - your Inner Energy - you'll truly live life like you came here to live it.
