Whenever the sliding door wasn’t too fragile to open, we picked up hitch hikers. There was the couple in Bolivia that looked terrified when we got pulled over for speeding and paid off the cops for a few bucks. And that one time in Argentina when we crammed in too many climbers to count and all their gear. (No wonder wonder Rita has suspension issues.) Or the two dudes we drove across the border from Costa Rica to Panama who pretended not to know us at customs because getting a vehicle through aduana was always an ordeal.
While it can be the ultimate vulnerability to invite strangers into your tiny home, they were always grateful and we loved hearing their stories. This capture was from one of our stow aways @annievanhees who ended up providing us with our second home while in Patagonia.
A very basic addition but an important one. -
When traveling, you never know the quality of the water you’re hooked up to. In our position, health is very important to us so we immediately started questioning the quality of the water at the park we were hooked up at. This is a very basic filter that you can buy at Walmart for around $18. We will be upgrading soon to the double to triple filtration system but for now this works!

Stenmaterialet är brutet ur berget kring Lom och kallas för #Thulit , efter det mytologiska Ultima Thule, yttersta Thule, för Skandinaviens nordvästra del, dvs. Norge. Thuliten upptäcktes i Telemark 1820. 💎
Den smarta boarden Skådis kommer från #IKEA , med klämmor, snoddar, hängare, förvaringskorg och boxar. Det mesta av småelektroniken åker ner i korgen när den inte används. Växten är en läkeväxt som heter #GynuraProcumbens . Den verkar gilla färden för den livnär sig främst på bilklimatet, och kräver nästan inget vatten. 🌱
Had amazing weather in Barcelona the whole time. Every time I try to go to the ticketed portion of Park Guell something happens and I don’t end up going in. Getting tickets online in advance is highly recommended, although you will have better chances in the winter months of snatching up something last minute. Had a great time walking around in the beautiful surrounding park 🌳🍃

Les étoiles plein les yeux, on s'est baladés comme jamais. Pourtant nos deux pattes folles nous ne le permettent pas, de base. Mais on a vu tellement de choses, par les petites rues ou celles qu'on ne connaît pas.
On a dû courir pour prendre le seul train de retour possible mais en vérité, il y avait tellement de jolies choses sur le chemin. Comme te voir défiler sur Hey Song dans la rue.
Le peu de monde et de circulation facilitait la vue.

When I started this project, I laughed at the notion that I wouldn’t always be able to locate my shots, but experience dictated that I start a clear filing system for my image files anyway. Within months I realized that without that system I’d never know where the hell anything was taken. And here I am now, having gotten too busy to file things for like 2 weeks on this last trip and I haven’t the damnedest clue where this photo was taken.
