  • Best pond I ever did see. I've hiked here many times now, but there are still no words that adequately do this place justice... you've just gotta experience it for yourself.

Send me a message if you are interested in joining my small group backcountry hiking tour to this location in Summer 2020.

  • FACES OF CUZCO I AND II
.
Plaza de Armas / Cuzco, Peru / Shot on iPhone 11 Pro / Edited using Snapseed app on the iPad 11” Pro
..
Time to explore streets and neighborhoods, searching for stories, images, and the human condition.
.
Other countries on my radar this winter include Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, who knows? I’ll make it up as I go. Wait...forget Bolivia. I found out they charge US Citizens $160.00, at the border, for a visitor visa!
.
Your ideas, thoughts and suggestions are welcome here. .
Follow along, see what I see, as I travel with my iCamera in Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Panama, Guatemala and beyond.
.
I will be traveling light, moving slow, planning as little as possible. Mostly street photography, but anything else that catches my eye.

  • The golden hour in Saint Petersburg was fantastic (see last week’s posts) but once the night started, everything turned magical. ⁣
I had planned to take only photos of the moonrise (it was full moon) and then go back to sleep but when I saw how the city was presented during the night, I kept taken photo after photo until sunrise. ⁣
It was hard to decide which places to capture as almost everywhere I looked felt like a postcard photo but I stayed, most of the time, just around the State Hermitage Museum and the bridges in the area

  • Costa Rica's Guanacaste Province is the only area of Costa Rica where you can photograph big skies and open places. ⠀
Many years ago, I took my workshop group to a special spot to photograph a lone tree at sunset using neutral density filters for a long exposure. ⠀
It was a fun time, I'll be developing a brand new workshop to this area soon. Stay tuned for news!⠀
.⠀
📍Guanacaste, Costa Rica⠀
📸Canon 5D III, Rokinon 24 mm, f/11, 22 seconds, ISO 50, Induro tripod and ballhead, cable release

  • This artwork from the #amsterdamlightfestival is called REMIND EULJIRO FREEDOM. It contains about 40 replicas of traditional signs, neon signs and lightboxes that represent the 1950s to the present, typical of a Korean shopping street.
You don't see that every day! Unless of course you are in Korea... .
