There are places in our world that fill our hearts with wonder. One of them was the Laugavegur in iceland for me. Such a scenic beauty! Unfortunately we did not have enough time to complete the 80 km long trekking path. So the Laugavegur is still on my travel wishlist and I'm really looking forward to it.
There are so many ways to “yes.” We often say yes as a reflex. Like “yes of course” and “yes absolutely” and “yes, no problem” when really you have a thousand things on your plate already and have zero time to do thing you just agreed to, so it actually IS a problem. There’s also the guilty “yes.” When you’re afraid of how it will make the other person feel if you say no. And the “yes” to impress, to prove to others that you’re capable or willing to go above and beyond. There’s of course the “I do” yes. And I was thinking about this as I witnessed our last 2019 couple say their vows. “Yes, I do.” What kind of “yes” is this? We say it so readily, with so much confidence and fervor. It’s a yes that means so many more things than we can even imagine at the time that we say it. Of permission, acceptance, forgiveness, sacrifice, compassion. One yes for a lifetime of “yes’s.” Isn’t that amazing? 😌
I took this shot a couple of weeks ago the sun went down only to shine on the Chrysler Building lights camera roll I love black and whites they tell a different story . 📸

Éze - Cotê d’Azur 🇫🇷
🇬🇧 At the top of the stunning hill village of Eze in the Provencal hills is the beautiful ‘ ‘Jardin Exotique d'Eze’ (Exotic Garden of Éze) where an impressive collection of cactus, plants and rare vegetation surrounds the remains of an ancient chateau. It has been created on the site of an ancient fortress and has incredible panoramic view over the Côte d’Azur. And, from the highest point of this “eagle’s nest”, you can make out Corsica. It's spectacular!
From the village, you can also visit "Eze bord-de-mer" by taking the Friedrich Nietzsche path (at the end of the "avenue du Jardin Exotique"), it appears that here, under the olives and pine-trees that Nietzsche composed the last part of his work " Thus Spoke Zarathustra ". This delightful walk takes about an hour.
