So, behind every moment there’s a story to tell… What’s yours?

"You could feel the vibrations from the whale’s song in your chest. Using only our hearing, we swam through the endlessly perfect blue following the song as it grew louder and louder. After so much anticipation and swimming we finally stumbled on one of the most beautiful creatures I’ve ever seen. Time froze for just a minute. We watched as the whale gave us the most memorable show; flopping, turning, breaching, it was the display of a lifetime. Only to disappear into the depths once again, leaving us wanting so much more."

  • A snowy photo from last year I never got around posting. I wonder if there will be snowy winter days this year in #paris ? They are so rare and hard to capture but probably the most beautiful images of Paris are the ones where it is covered in a white sheet of snow ❄️ don’t you think? ⛄️

  • Don’t know if we got to close to the falls, but oh well. Gotta satisfy that wanderlust bug somehow. Crazy to think two years ago I jumped on a plane to see my mate in California for a 8 hour drive to Yosemite. Need more moments like this in the near future.

  • There’s something about a walk in colder weather clutching a warm latte that makes it feel like the holiday season might just be right around the corner! If only it wouldn’t get dark so quickly, so I could enjoy it just a moment longer...

  • William Leas Mansion at 400 W King Street, built in 1897.
•
This Queen Anne Victorian style home was built for the family of William Leas in 1897. It served as a bed & breakfast for 35 years, & is a family home once again.
•
It is the largest home on King Street & was the first in town to have electricity by use of a generator located in the barn.
•
William & Susan Leas had five children — Flossie, Sarah, Melvin, Beulah, & William. Baby William died before the family moved into the house. Flossie died at age 22 from spinal meningitis. Melvin died at age 19 when he was thrown from a horse & drowned in the Conewago Creek. Some claim that Flossie haunts the home in a friendly way. Mr. Leas — sole owner of the East Berlin Railroad at one time — died in 1916 at age 57 shortly after a stroke of apoplexy. Sarah & Beulah Leas maintained the home for some time before it was sold to the Bechtels in the 1980s.
•
The home features a back staircase (used for servants of years past) that leads from the kitchen to the second floor. The servants quarters were in the attic. A room on the third floor was used specifically to dry meats.

  • It seems as though I’ve now seen just about every Australian animal I’ve wanted to see in the wild and more. This dingo couldn’t have been more photogenic while cooling off in a small pool. 🐕

Go on adventures, set new boundaries, take risks and get out of your comfort zone! Like wildflowers 🌼 In order for you to bloom, you must first grow 🌱 but you can’t grow to your full potential if you don’t have strong roots! So best plant your feet in an environment that is able to sustain you and help you discover your true colors 🌈 .
