For this #monsteramonday I give you a full up-close view of my first, my only, my beautiful #monsteradeliciosavariegata ♥️ This gem was a cutting I won at a bid about 2 months ago and I am now certain its roots are well developed. But since it's winter I don't expect a new leaf untill next year. I think I'll throw a party when the first new leaf appears 😅🌱 . . . . .
Into my Jungle
I was so excited to finally find a #variegatedhoyacarnosacompacta I searched all over when Meijer had the hanging baskets in stock, and came back empty handed. A week or so after I had given up on finding one, I found this at berns! Oh, and Leroy decided he wanted to be in the picture today. 🤷🏻♀️
Goedemiddag, kijk deze prachtige kerstster eens! Wij zijn vandaag open tot 17:30! 🌸

Pet Portrait deadline is fast approaching! I’ve got a busy week but will still be accepting new commissions until December 13th for Holiday orders. I have a few endangered species prints left as well 😊 - link in bio ! ❤️ #petportrait#catsofinstagram
This is my African Violet. She’s not in bloom right now but has some new growth coming in, I think she’s feeling the winter blues a bit.
When she is in bloom, she has these really unique green and pink flowers that I’ve never seen before. ➡️ Swipe to the right to see how she looked when i first purchased her.
She’s pretty easy to care for although I question if she needs a soil change and more room in her pot.
Come springtime, I may pick up another one of these because they’re just awesome little plants that don’t need a lot of light and will bloom year round. AND they’re pet friendly!
It’s such a far cry from waiting for those orchids to put out a spike.
