It’s hard. When you’ve known pain for too long, it’s hard to believe that happiness belongs with you, it’s even harder to embrace happiness without the nagging thought at the back of your mind telling you that it won’t stay for too long, that happiness is just a visitor, settling on a couch on the bright side of your room closest to the door – ready to leave again. It’s hard pushing away the fear that one day happiness will head towards that same door, switch the lights off and leave you alone with the bleakness of your fluttering thoughts once more.
You see, when you’ve been conditioned to couple love with sacrifice, tears and pain, that’s all you think that love can offer you. That’s all you think that life can offer you. But that’s why it is important to welcome change. That’s why it is vital to welcome new experiences and let people teach us that love can be fuzzy and warm and good for your soul, and that happiness doesn’t always come with the possibility that it will leave.
Sometimes it comes with the promise that it will stay.
All we need to do is accept it with open arms and a heart spread wide enough to let happiness stay, wide enough to let in people and adventures in new countries where the wind sways in a different way and the mountains reach higher than the clouds, so you start to believe that the sky isn’t the limit because the sun and stars, because no one can stop you from reaching new heights if you have faith in yourself.
Believe that happiness, love and everyone who is kind to you belongs with you and believe that even if yesterday was difficult and today is a little hard – tomorrow will always bring with it the potential for a new start, for new beginnings, for the sun and the rain and the rainbows that will wash away all the pain and tears. It will bring with it hope and happiness. It will bring with it everything that you never thought you’d find. Have faith, because it will.

Tara is me when I stick with butterflies in my stomach and not measure the time invested in a dead relationship. Tara is me who will give her best in the workspace and keep the emotional turmoil out of business. But Tara is also me who breaks down when her accidental truth bombs cost her something precious. But then she moves on, because she deserves what she deserves.

I tend to be sarcastic and cynical. I'm not much of a dreamer. I rather focus on a direction then take action to get there. Even with that part of me, I'm still a big sucker for the romantic pieces of life, and it shows up often in my work.
Romance makes a heart warm and soft. It allows one to relax and feel loved. It's a beautiful thing. Romance is fleeting. Reality likes to step in to remind you that you have stuff to do, but that just makes the romantic even more special.
It's also why I think we want to witness life in romantic ways so often. It's an expression of love, safety, and surrender. And when we can do all of that at once, it's pure magic.

The book answers the questions about their separation and the hope of their happy ever after. These answers do add up the element of thrill in the easy-going love story. The other characters who caught my attention were Aneri and Tarun. The story is mainly set up around the college life. It contains all the elements that every student faces including career choices and parental pressure. The book surely makes the older reader nostalgic and also connects with the younger generation. A sure shot easy read that can be read whenever the mind needs to rest. The book displays the power of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP.
