I have a recurring dream where I am breathing under water and swimming with sharks (mostly hammerheads). I have this dream as much as twice a week! I always imagined (I fantasize a lot), if I had one wish it would be to be able to live and breathe underwater.. what would you wish for? 🤔🦈🦈 #Sirena

Looks like someone finally made “fetch” happen.

Playing rugby with a beluga whale. Belugas are highly intelligent animals, their brain is nearly twice the size of a human one and has more folds in its neocortex (surface area), indicating that the part of their brain that’s involved in problem solving and thinking is highly elaborated.

Manta madness! 💙 @sideytheshark captured this amazing manta ray vortex in Maldives. How incredible is this? 😍
Curious fact: Manta rays have the largest brain to body weight ratio of any living fish giving it enough smarts to make the average dolphin jealous. Mantas are social animals and have friends they frequently visit as well as they show cooperative feeding techniques. They might even be self aware. 🤙🏻

The turtle salute! Lately I feel like I have just been running into turtle's but I guess it is not a bad thing. 😊 When life gives you lemons...

It’s a bit awkward, in periods when everything is unclear and hazy, to stop for a moment and ask ourselves about our nature and the direction of our actions. It’s strange cz even if they are important aspects of our lives, especially at certain times that we face, we still do not want to talk to ourselves to find answers!
I don't know if I would have ever done it, probably not alone. Sometimes the guidance and strength of the right people can be what we need and what leads us to actually think about it!
It happens that we feel down and that our objectives, of any kind, get confused, but trying to slowly define or remember them, as well as remembering our nature, clarifies the steps and gives us strength to seek and undertake our way!

Mirror Monday! 🤙🏼
This week I will be sharing a collection of my favourite “reflection” shots I’ve managed to get. None of them have been “photoshopped” to create the mirror effect. It is simply their reflection created from the surface of the water. Let me know what you think! 💙

I made up my mind that I’d get out of that place and I did…I learned that if you want to get somewhere, you just make up your mind and work like hell til you get there. If you want to go somewhere in life, you just have to work till you make it ◾

Just another turtle screaming freedom in front of the sardines. Moalboal is really great for people that dive, snorkel, or at least love to swim in deep water. But for those that don’t, this might not be the right vacation spot for you.
Just recently, we overheard someone with so much complaints about the area, the hotel he booked, and lack of activities by the beach. As much as it is fun to travel aimlessly, if you are after something specific like a pretty beach with fine sand or areas packed with non-water-related activities, you’d really have to do a bit of research. Otherwise, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. 👍🏼
I know it's been a while between posts but believe me the snow photos are coming. I've been settling in to my new home up at Big White (a completely different experience to settling into Edinburgh btw) and loving every flake that falls on our hill. Opening day cannot come soon enough!! 🏂
This was taken back in April in Bali, hotdamn what a sunset they put on 🌅

Currently back in Koh Tao producing a series of videos for @frenchkissdivers . I absolutely love making these dive center promos! Definitely a challenge for a 1 man operation to capture video: underwater, on the surface, on the boat on land, accommodations, timelapses and drone shots all alone... sometimes in the span of only a few days. Huge thanks to all of the staff who end up haveing to put up with me sticking my camera in their face for a short while.
This video here commissioned by @gobeyondasia was created with only 3 days of shooting. Much harder than it looks but with the right planning, orginization, execution and LUCK the results are so fulfilling. Plus, I get to meet so many great people and experience such amazing places.
This post makes us happy! Inter generational dive teams is awesome! Usually it is the child doing their course to catch up with the parent but this time it’s Dad catching up to son. So cool. And how lucky to get to do your open water at such an amazing location! Go Team Bertaina! #sditdioceania#coralquaysresort#sdidivers#sdiflags#fatherandson #
Out on a shoot today with @christoff_ccr . It's always fascinating watching tech divers gearing up. The amount of gear is one thing, but memorizing where it all is when you need it for later and keeping track of where it all is. Maybe one day I'll venture down that road, we'll see
