THIS 🙌🏻. I was going to have a salad tonight but decided that I WANTED sausage and peppers—and not no turkey apple light fat free sausage! I wanted Cheese and Parsley Italian sausage from my favorite @faiccosbrooklyn. Jim had picked up a couple of loaves of bread from @paneanticobakerycafe which sealed the deal for me. I weighed and measured everything and made sure it fit into whatever points I had left for the day! And it wasn’t so bad! 4 sp for the Italian bread and 5 sp for 1.75 oz of sausage. I cut the sausage to fit my little sandwich and that’s what it weighed out to be. I promised myself I wouldn’t go back for seconds and I actually stuck to my plan. Boardwalk Style...when you see this setup, you know where to go!
I like my keto simple. This meal is 2 ingredients (well 4 cuz of the tricolor peppers lol). Hot Sausage and Peppers topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
All you have to do is cut up the sausages and tricolor peppers. Cook the sausage first, I used hot sausages but you can use mild. Then throw in the pepper and sauté for a few minutes. When you remove it from the stove, top with Parmesan.
This meal took less than 20 minutes to make, quicker than ordering and waiting for fast food. And it’s much healthier for you too!
