Been focusing on making sure my body is more symmetrical and strengthening my weak points with @bigjeffheezy . Soooooo legs and shoulders😜 the progress so far has been great and it’s only gonna get better🔥💪🏼 No filter required🤪
My doc added Evening Primrose and Flax Oil to my protocol this week. And I rotate them according to my cycle, which is a new thing for me. I’ve never taken one thing for two weeks then switched to the other for the following two weeks. But I trust her knowledge and methods. This will help give my body nutrients while influencing my hormones in a positive way, all in preparation for addressing trauma/emotional healing in the near future. I’m excited, to say the least, and ready for whatever the universe puts in my path! Here’s to healing and overcoming! 💚💚💚

I use to struggle going out to eat while trying to stay on track.
I would get anxiety about not being able to have precise measurements of my foods to be able to track.
I would either not eat or take my meals to the restaurant.
Which by the way I’m not knocking in any way.
It’s that for someone like myself who is not looking to step on stage, or dieting for a competition, that’s not sustainable.
That’s not “healthy”.
There shouldn’t be fear of food or eating food not fresh off a scale.
“Healthy” is finding a lifestyle.
“Healthy” is making smart choices in hard situations.
“Healthy” is what works for you long term.
It helps having restaurants like @honeypitstl that have macro friendly menus.
Plenty of restaurants now a days have macros on their online menu.
I recommend taking time and looking at what you’re eating but also realizing it’s okay if it’s not precise.

Al asistir al gimnasio, es comun que el coach, instructor, preparador o como sea que se haga llamar, te ofrezca una lista interminable de suplementos, prometiendote que con esto y su dieta lograras el fisico que tanto buscas.
Tu, en la desesperacion de querer cambios rapidos decides creerle...ERROR.🚫⚠️ De todos los suplementos que hay disponibles en el mercado hoy en dia, son contados con una mano los que realmente tienen efecto y respaldo cientifico. ✅Cuales si: proteina, creatina monohidratada y cafeina. La proteina en polvo es exactamente la misma que encontramos en los alimentos, simplemente se les ha extraido el agua para poder tenerlas en presentacion de polvo, asi que obviamente funcionan, sin embargo muchas veces es innecesaria ya que con tu dieta facilmente cumples tus requerimientos diarios, y el exceso de proteina lamento informarte que no se guarda en el cuerpo...se excreta por la orina.
La creatina es el suplemento mas estudiado y todos concuerdan en su eficacia y nulos efectos secundarios, por lo cual es de los pocos recomendables para todos, ya que ademas de ayudar a la recuperacion de nuestros musculos tambien mantiene las celulas hidratadas, trae beneficios neurologicos, etc,
La cafeina es una excelente opcion cuando buscamos tener mejor rendimiento durante nuestro entrenamiento, ya que cada tableta contiene aprox 250mg , cantidad suficiente para estimular nuestro SNC sin excedernos como sucede con los llamados "óxidos" , que suelen traer problemas como insomnio, dolor de cabeza, mareos, etc. ❌Cuales no o tal vez si dependiendo varios factores: Los bcaas son completamente innecesarios, ya que estas obteniendo tus requerimientos de la dieta, por lo que tal como sucede con la proteina, simplemente seran excretados por la orina
Tendrian funcion solamente en cierto tipo de poblacion como adulto mayor, vegetarianos, veganos, personas que tengan una alimentacion deficiente.

I get more questions about protein than almost any other topic so thought I would make this cheat sheet.
I have tried to simplify some arguments (how many protein feedings people need for optimal growth and what this rationale is based on). I have also attached an individual study that compares two doses. When two doses are being compared you cannot identify an *optimal* dose, just which one of the two is better.
The most important cliff notes;
- Total daily protein intake is the most important factor
- Frequency and timing are significantly less important
- People love mental masturbation about the perfect number of meals and the exact amount of protein they need to consume but in reality these things will likely amount to two smidgens above fuck all for most people. Sure, if you are a high end athlete feel free to try and be as precise as possible if you want
So if you want to build muscle, consume adequate protein probably split across multiple meals and you won't go far wrong.
Note; protein intake is likely to have a ceiling for additional benefits, this trend of putting protein in every single food item (protein beer, amino acid vodka etc) is fucking ludicrous lol.
If I ever go into a bar and ask for a protein vodka so I can "stay anabolic" please uppercut me in the testicles.
