Exploring caves in Arizona🌞
A 12km jaunt up to these caves for sunset, and it did not disappoint. Was happy to get a little taste of summer again before winter arrived here in the North West. November is a great time to visit Arizona, especially since we were hiking quite a bit, the temperature was absolutely perfect.🌻 Photo taken by @angelaliggs
Exploring the back roads of Santa Barbara in the all new @mazdausa CX-30. Mazda is built upon four pillars that all focus around humans and their interaction with their vehicle ensuring that it is an incredible experience both on and off the road. From the outside the Mazda CX-30 has an aggressive stance and beautiful lines, but the interior is crafted with elegance. It’s the calm within the chaos which I love. #MazdaCX30#feelalive

“If only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.”
– Fred Rogers

Our newest perry is coming soon! This is just a quick preview of Front Porch Perry before filtration and carbonation. Like our other perries it’s refreshing, dry, and crisp. You’ll be able to find it in cans and kegs before the end of the year. #simplyfantastic 🍐🍾🥂 #blossombarncidery

@vagabondhearts - “I was amazed that what I needed to survive could be carried on my back. And, most surprising of all, that I could carry it.” - Cheryl Strayed
I remember this feeling - I still feel it every spring after a long winter. I have a process before my first backpacking trip of the year I treat it almost like a pilgrimage, a reuniting of all of my gear from it’s winter home. I lay every piece out on my living room floor and then hop on top of my kitchen table to look down at everything, curated over the years, with a slight sideways tilt to my head. Trying to remind myself why sleeping on a flimsy inflatable sleeping pad is better than my bed. A questioning of why we choose to trust a thin sheet of fabric to keep out wind and rain and animals alike. I run my hands over the patched holes in my tent from curious mice in Patagonia and think back to my very first backpacking trip - three nights of torrential downpour at Berg Lake when I may or may not have left my boots outside to fill to the brim with water. It was a last minute cancellation and I honestly didn’t know any better. Growing up my parents didn’t teach me these things, I didn’t go to summer camps that take you into the backcountry for days or weeks on end. And in all honesty I probably would not have gone if they had signed me up. I still am lacking on navigational skills and I don’t think I could start a fire to save my life. I question my abilities on an almost daily basis, especially when it comes to the outdoors. I ask more questions than I have answers to and feel almost fraudulent when I am turned to for advice. I am not writing this as some sort of performative vulnerability, but rather as an invitation to collectively de-stigmatize the messy process of lifelong learning. We learn, we grow, and we are all capable of far more than we know. #earthoutdoors

just a lil' PSA: 2020 will be the same as 2019 if you don't get up off your ass and take steps to change menatally, physically and emotionally.
Some flowers and a smile from the cutest pup for your Friday ✨💐🤪 taking a minute to reflect on all the hard work I’ve put in this year, to organize and center myself for the last few weeks of the decade (!!!?!), and to have gratitude for the tiny beautiful things that make up a wonderful life. Hope this is a small reminder for you to do the same 💛🌱
Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Pray for snow!

Here’s to turning 28!
27 was one hell of a year. Met a lot of amazing people, explored our great state of WA and the great country of Bhutan, ran three 50ks, climbed a bunch of stuff and took up skiing and got way into climbing, and spent a lot of late nights and alpine mornings with good friends. A lot to be thankful for!
