C H E E R S to turning 26 🍻 it hit me the other day, how fleeting time has been. Mourning as I watch my kiddos start as seedlings and sprout before my eyes. I got to thinking about how I want to watch them bloom and not feel too sad. I know there will never be enough time, especially with young ones, but I never want to feel like I could have done more, been more present, put the phone down more often, and be. I want to look back and maybe feel a tug of nostalgia but be so content and happy and full with the chapters that are quickly closing that the melancholy is overwhelmingly overshadowed by warmth. Stepping into this new year with these affirmations and I’m looking forward to all of the beautiful growth that will manifest ✨ thanks for all the love today guys ✨

As full time travelers we get asked a lot of questions - the desert is always our response when asked what our favorite landscape is, and cool coffee shops in unknown cities are our favorite places to work, and use wifi. After spending our day at #saguaronationalpark we went to the coolest coffee shop in the Tucson Warehouse Arts District to upload our photos, edit and work while using @webroot to protect our connection and identity.
Where do you guys connect to public wifi?!
She's so much happier with life now that her tooth popped in! All the extra sweet snuggling was nice, but the up every hour thing... not so much, lol. 😴

Is there even a hotel that can give you this?! We doubt it! But if so, we wouldn’t be able to afford it anyway^^ looking at pictures like this makes us longing for those perfect days in our cozy little home on wheels. Sleeping right next to the Golden Gate Bridge sure was a big highlight of our trip. It’s funny how after some months in the camper sometimes all we want is a nice hotel room, getting a good shower and some space but now it’s the other way around: just after 2 days in a hotel we can’t wait to get our home back and get going - wait for us Mexico!

As disheartening as it feels to be making plans to leave the boat ahead of schedule, I'm glad that we caught on to a major issue that could've come to light after the refitting. Let's not fail to mention that @cgstock has been an amazing detective and worked tirelessly to figure out our electrical grief.
Do you ever run for fun, for pure enjoyment? Ever been walking and then burst out into a run because you just feel moved to? I hardly ever do. I usually run for fitness or if I need a mental release, but my boys??? They run for pure fun, because they live carefree with hearts full of wonder and excitement. Seeing these pictures reminds me to run with a grateful heart more, to live life through the eyes of a child, and to never be too old to bust out into a joyous run because you’re so darn excited to be right where you are. .

I already have a very minimalistic lifestyle🙏🏼. Every now and then, when friends visit me at home, they ask me if I've been robbed🙈. I always have to laugh about that😅. I don't think that I have too little🤷🏼♀️. Quite the opposite. After almost three weeks in the van I am convinced that I still own far too much🙆🏼♀️. By the way, that's why I've given away so much cycling gear. That it is possible to be very happy with very little is something I notice every time I eat a cookie🍪. A single, tiny cookie can make me very happy☺️. In this sense: happy National Cookie Day🍪!

If you are doing an #RVRenovation & #LOVE to cook I highly recommend adding a pot filler & swapping out both your #RV stove & sink for a residential stove like this one by Avanti & a #Farmhouse sink like this one from @ikeausa which worked double duty on travel days as storage 🙌🏾. Spent the evening putting a coat of clear diamond wood finish on our ceiling! Man did it ever bring the ceiling to life! Plus we have all the walls pretty much up now! No more spray foam! Now I guess we’ll start working on the back first, bed/ closets 😳 this is nuts!

ich habe nach etwas gesucht, das sich für MICH gut anfühlt und ich habe es gefunden. von kopf bis fuß bin ich begeistert von der natürlichkeit, der frische, der nachhaltigkeit und der produktion dieser produkte. alles spricht für sich. RINGANA begleitet mich nun täglich und ich bin glücklich damit. ich habe es gewagt alle vorurteile gehen zu lassen und mich für eine neue reise entschieden. bequem von zuhause etwas geld zu verdienen durch network marketing ist zudem ein positiver nebeneffekt, denn btw. wer auf weltreise will muss von unterwegs geld verdienen können! 🌿 ich war unsicher, was das teilen auf instagram angeht aber ich verstelle mich definitiv nicht und bin 100% ich. deshalb habe ich beschlossen, diesen neuen schritt mit euch zu teilen. ✨

Why does our house have two doors?
Even though we build tiny house relatively large, we already know that it is too small for us in the long term. Basti needs a music studio, I need, a art studio and when we start a family it will definitely be too small. That's why the second house is already being planned. The left door, on the drawing in brown, will be the connecting door to the second tiny house which will be vertically connected to the first house.
By the way, the drawing above shows quite exactly what our first house will look like, drawn on a scale of 1:50. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Warum hat unser Haus eigentlich zwei Türen?
Auch wenn wir uns Tiny House verhältnismäßig groß bauen, wissen wir jetzt schon, dass es für uns auf Dauer zu klein ist. Basti braucht ein Musikstudio, ich Resi, ein Atelier und wenn wir mal eine Familie gründen wird es in dem einen definitiv zu eng. Deshalb ist das zweite Haus auch schon in Planung. Die linke Tür, auf der Zeichnung in braun, wird die Verbindungstür ins zweite Tiny House das sich vertikal an das erste Haus anschließen wird.

We know who we are, what we want and where we are going.
We arent looking for permission or approval from anyone.
We choose this life.
We are happy with it.

We dont ask or need anyone to be for us.
We realize we are are going against the norm in almost every way we can so we truly dont expect anyone to get it or even like it.
If you catch us smiling and wonder what the heck we have to be so happy about?
Know that we love our selves, our family and our goals.
We have a ways to go but are proud of ourselves every bit of the way knowing this kind of lifestyle and mindset doesnt happen over night.
We dont care to impress anyone with what we have but with how we love and live.
Our decisions are hard and sometimes painful, going against what we know,
what we were taught,
and how we were raised but
our hearts are at peace.
We will look back in 10 years with smiles knowing we chose this life, we didn't settle for it.
We stood up for what we believed, we had faith, we tried, we worked hard, with shakey feet and shakey voices we spoke up and took a stand.
We won't waste our time, our potential or our purpose living a quiet, normal day to day life.

“Jenna and I were always destined to have an adventurous future. While anticipating a point when our relationship would move to the “engaged” status we were faced with the shock of the fires here in Sonoma County. While facing aftermath of the fires and how it directly impacted our family we clung to one another and the next step to our relationship began to unfold. Jenna and I were in a constant state of finding a balance between the joy we had in our lives and dealing with such loss and heart ache from the fires, but out of all of the pain we found a chance to see the blessings in all of this. There was an inspiration to build our own home in the neighborhood I grew up in. This inspiration came from rebuilding my parents home and from building a few of the other neighbors near them. After months of trying to find the right opportunity to build our home the path was more clear than we could have ever dreamed. After a few weeks of negotiating, we owned a piece of land in the neighborhood I grew up in. But most importantly it was ours, ours to dream on, ours to build on and ours to begin building our life’s foundation on together. We soon came up with a plan to make this dream come true and it involved a 2004 travel trailer that was donated to us. It was a bit rough on the inside, but with my will to make it comfortable and Jenna’s will to make anything she touches “Pinterest cute” if that’s a thing we had our selves our first home! We moved it on to the property and gave ourselves a wonderful space to be comfortable on our dirt.
