  • Wow! Cannot believe I am saying this but I'm currently on the penthouse suite of a 5* Yacht Hotel - a trip I was invited on with my travel business where I got to meet the CEO and the top 5 income earners, all of whom are on a 6 or 7-figure income. The crazy thing is, they are just regular people like you and me - yet they've shown that it is possible for an average person like myself, who was just floating through life, living penny to penny, just about paying off my bills - that I can now live the life I've always dreamed of! I can help my parents retire early, I can buy that fancy car or the designer handbags, I can go on as many holidays as I want and not have to worry about the financial burden!

If you're serious about changing your life, then you've got to actually step out of your comfort zone and make that change or one day you will wake up and realise you've lived a life of mediocrity. An amazing opportunity presented itself and I grabbed it with both hands and never looked back and it has completely changed my life for the better - I really want to be able to do this for other people.

In spite of the challenges the universe throws my way, I’m feeling more happy and productive that I have done in a very long time, and I feel big things on the horizon 🤩⁣

You've got a tour company in a pretty cool town (or in a lame town & you're the coolest thing there, either way🤷🏽‍♀️) Anyways, you take out tours, people have a great time, they go home, rinse repeat. 
It's busy season, but somehow you're not getting the traffic you did in previous years. Maybe you've got new competition, maybe people just aren't finding you. Next thing you know, the people are gone & it's low season. Even harder to bring in traffic, right? 
Here are some easy ways to market your tours to grow a steady flow of traffic year round! ✴ Storytelling: Tell a story that allows potential clients to picture themselves on an adventure with you. Tell them the story of who you are & your core values & beliefs so that they connect with you & your company. Make them want to become a part of the story. ✴ User generated content: Make sure your guests share their experience! The majority of consumers trust other people's opinion over branded content...use that to your advantage. Provide an amazing experience that people want to share & others will follow suit. FOMO is a hell of a marketing tool 😉 ✴ Video content: Whether it's a professional video from a drone or a quick vid from your Android, video content helps guests picture themselves in the experience & more likely to book. 🎥 @guatesup ✴ Community & culture: Your tour was created to share a unique experience w/travelers. Whether you're a food tour in Belize or a boat tour in Nantucket, you're sharing your community & culture w/someone else! Show your community what they mean to you & your business by letting them know who you are & what you do. When travelers are searching for the authority, they will mention you. Give kickbacks as well for those who send people your way. This works very well in off season. ✴ Analyze: Look at your online traffic (social media or website), where is it coming from, who are you reaching, what content are they responding to? If you're not reaching your target audience, but people are responding, maybe switch up your focus. If they are your target, see what they love about you & do more of it.
