  • I almost forgot how stunning this place was....
I’ve been cooped up in my house for days now, which has given me a lot of time to catch up on editing, including getting to some photos from Canada a few months back.

We got up at 4 AM to watch the sunrise at #lakelouise and let me tell you, it was totally worth it!

Every one of these glacial lakes has a sediment called “rock flour,” which comes from centuries of the ice scraping against the rock as the glaciers expand and recede. The result: incredible hues of blue from the sediment reflecting sunlight.

Mind you, this photo was taken before the sunrise. Once the sun is up high in the sky mid day, the colors are some of the most spectacular teals and blues I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

If you ever get the chance to go, please visit Alberta and view not only the larger more touristy lakes like here at Lake Louise, but also the smaller lakes scattered throughout the parks. More importantly, if anyone wants to do some #destinationportraits or a #destinationelopement and fly me out to photograph some portraits in these territories, you KNOW your girl is always DOWN!!!!

  • Banff National Park’s Moraine Lake is an incredible place. This beautiful, aqua colored, glacial tarn sits in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. With stunning mountain peaks and alpine lakes who wouldn’t love it here? Check out our blog post on this amazing place now! Link in bio.

  • A hot day back home on the Sunshine Coast had me dreaming of -5 degree day at Bow Lake.

We drove the Icefields Parkway from Lake Louise to Jasper, and Bow Lake was the highlight. Mainly because it snowed and we couldn’t see all the scenery. We’ll just have to drive it again.

  • Pure Canadian Ride :) Of course, I am joking when I say that, however, just couldn’t resist naming it so much to align with Canadian Flag on a beautifully decorated Canoe ready for ride at Banff Canoe Club. Sure you can go on a canoe ride anywhere but canoe ride up in Banff region is truly inexplicable. Imagine yourself canoeing in this region where all you see around you is clean water whether in turquoise blue, milky blue/green, azure blue or a few more shades that you never get to see other places. If you see up above all you see is yourself surrounded by mountains decorated with beautiful ice caps. Not to mention the Sun and its rays playing hide and seek giving you outstanding views of the scenery all along your ride. You can go canoeing at many different spots in Banff region of course. A few popular spots are Lake Louise, Lake Moraine and Banff Canoe Club at Bow River Trail in Town of Banff. Bow River Trail is a quiet riverside trail, mostly paved, and only a few steps away from downtown Banff. Plenty of benches allow you to take in the views or enjoy a picnic lunch. Bow River Trail is wheelchair-friendly from the Muskrat Street access to the northwest end of this trail. Bow river adds the charm to the Town of Banff. This river is fed by Bow Lake which is fed by Bow glacier up north. Most of rivers and lakes in Banff area are glacially fed. Sediments or rock flour are responsible for the blue color seen on most glacial lakes. Banff Canoe Club is a cool place to hang out. Many visit this place to simply go for a river stroll or one can say river ride in a kayak or a canoe. Canoeing in this river is simply splendid with breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding landscapes. I had a great time capturing the beauty of this town and Banff National Park. © Sachin Sawe #visitalberta #banffcanoeclub #banff #banfflife #bowrivertrail #bowlake #bowriver #bowrivercanada #banffcanada #banffalberta #canadianrockies #canadatravel #explorebanff #landscapes #a7riii #sonyalpha7riii #sonya7riii #1635gm #sony1635gm @banffcanoeclub @visit.banff @visitalberta #instagood #instadaily #photooftheday #photooftoday

  • Peyto Lake💙. A natureza acalma a agitação interna. A foto é do meu celular. Eu amo tudo nessa foto💙. #peytolake #alberta #visitalberta #canada #visitcanada #explorecanada #natureinitsfullest #naturelovers #nature #wildnature #intothewild #amonatureza
