Stairs to the right—funicular to the left. Which would you choose? Porto has some really steep streets, that will give your butt a killer workout 💪🏻, so I walked up those stairs several times, but other times the 5 euro cable car was worth every penny. #portugalbucketlist
She’s my favorite...that is the photo. 😊
I ventured down this little road in search of a Goan restaurant, Jesus é Goês, a rich blend of Portuguese and Indian food. I showed up early and the hostess told me usually you need a reservation but she said come back when we open and we will see what we can do. So I explored the neighborhood near Avenida da Liberdade, ate some chestnuts, and stumbled upon this tram that goes up and down this hill. I snapped some photos but didn’t know I had this beauty on my camera. I don’t know this couple and I have no clue where the tram goes nonetheless the scene of two average people waiting for a tram is beautiful. They were able to seat me in the back of the restaurant for a lovely meal.
A very meaningful testimonial! :
Fantastic mix of history and truly wonderful food- NO other tour goes where we did!
We really can't say enough good things about our tour- picked up precisely on time at our doorstep; transport in a new, very clean and well-appointed van. Francisco provided a very informative but relaxed palace tour and was happy to answer all the questions we had on our visit to beautiful Ericiera and the fish market. Our vineyard visit was remarkable- we were the only guests at a small family vineyard during harvest. Able to meet the owner and discuss all the elements of their wine and process, capped with one of the best meals we had in Portugal and of course, lots of delicious wine- all served in a postcard-perfect outdoor setting. We'll never forget the experience, and can't wait to return to Portugal and another Rootfarers tour. Thanks so much!! #reviews#tripadvisor#meaningfulexperiences#vistportugal#visitlisbon#authenticexperiences#greattour#winetourism#winery#seafood#ericeira @quintadosplatanoseventos
