Some people wanna know my weekly schedule so here goes..
Monday: tris/chest/shoulders
Tuesday: glutes/hammies
Wednesday: bis/back/shoulders
Thursday: quads/calves
Friday: full body
Saturday: cardio/running/core
Sunday: rest/yoga
I do light core workouts every day except sunday but it’s more intense on saturday. This schedule is what has been working for me for a long time and it’s managed pretty well. I might replace saturday cardio with title boxing 🥊 we’ll see 🤔 also i need new outfits i wear the same 3 things in every photo 🤷‍♀️

BUT no-one will know if you're lonely unless you say, & you are in control of how you can change the N to a V 👇

It's all about connection. We do all need connection, we won't always find it waiting for it to come to us, in fact we can't read minds so how??? This is our responsabily.

LONELY = anxiety response for me.
.
I understand, I've had many lonely times.
Most I have put myself in to feel safe.
I wanted a healthy safe connection
I was upset no-one could see
I was waiting for someone to see
I felt That's what I needed 'the recognition'.
It was! But it wouldn't happen this way.
I had to understand what I was in control of & that I had to love me to let it happen.
.
& that my anxiety response is normal, it's responding to my need for connection, responding to the stress i was experincing my own.
.
MY CONTROL | MY SELFTALK | MY PERCEPTION
. 
No matter how I got to this lonely place, if I want to get connected I have to be the one. No matter what has happened before, I cannot be scared to reconnect.
If I stay disconnected & waiting, I'll stay lonely, & lonely, I get stuck in my thoughts, this causes my anxiety Response, I feel stressed on my own, it's not natural for humans to be alone. It's not good for me.
I have to get out there 
Find my people
Look for a club
Find my interests
Get out and not online 
Call that mate
Put myself in situations I might meet people.
And plan, action go. No fear.

So here's my V. To you.

You are a wonderful human 
You'll find the people you connect with if you try.
It may take some time * took me a while
But you won't find them, afraid & on your own.

  • Legit question my friends. 
Having been in the domain of helping people with their dating and love lives for the past decade now, I can confidently assert that many people find themselves in the second camp. 
The fantasy camp. 
The illusion. 
The delusion. 
The denial.
The blame.
The projected image they need the other person to be. 
And this is why straight off the hop many dating and relational dynamics are off kilter. 
It isn’t popular in this instant gratification culture to suggest that people delay gratification and actually take their time to get to know someone. 
Egos flair.
Shadow material activates.
Fragile feelings get real hurt. 
But the true love truth stings at first. And if we’re actually after true love and partnership we have to pay attention to these types of truths and playbook guidelines. 
The common complaint I hear is “but Kelsey, I don’t have time to waste. I don’t have time to invest into getting to really know someone.” And while I understand the very real pain in these statements I also am baffled by the wonky logic. 
So instead of actually getting to know someone, slowing things down, vetting all areas intentionally and really seeing what someone is made of and most importantly if what they’re made of jives with what you’re made of and what your heart desires- we fast track into “commitment” with someone we barely know, invest months maybe years into a misaligned connection only to have it end and you have to start over again? Like that makes more sense?

From this lens, the first option is hardly a “waste of time”. Instead it’s the conscious investment of time so that you don’t get caught in a dead end relationship that isn’t going anywhere you wanted to go. 
Logically we can see the second choice of fast tracking and fantasy projecting doesn’t really make much sense. 
But logic isn’t driving here. 
Unprocessed emotional debris is. 
The wounds we won’t face, drive us off these metaphorical relational cliffs time and time again. Until we get to the “fuck this shit, I’m sick of my own shit” phase. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

  • Seeded Bars. This is the base recipe from my book which isn’t photographed (I was too busy making all the variations!) I made this batch with half yakon syrup half brown rice syrup. It’s only slightly sweet with a good kiss of flaky salt making it a great snack. Yakon syrup is made from a South American root vegetable with a delicate sweetness and low GI. It’s been a rough week with sleepless nights and juggling a new routine in the city— which includes living in a building site. It’s crazy but these bars have been a savior. They also last forever. Make them soon! Oh and they’re grain free if you use 100% yakon syrup. #wholefoodcookingeveryday

  • Let’s see what the hype is all about! #gamechangers 🥬🥒🥕 As a former vegan & vegetarian I sometimes toy with the idea of being 100% plant-based again. I felt good during the years that I was animal-protein free, but it definitely takes a certain mindset to be successful eating this way. I focus my meals around fruits and veggies currently, but I do consume animal protein... Habifn said that, I am willing to give #veganism another try. Curious about this movie and excited to see what new information I can learn. #fridaynightturnup .

Over a month ago I told my kids about #EvaLove and how she needed their prayers. Prayer may seem silly to some, but for us it's a way to speak to God whether it is asking for help for ourselves or others, venting, or just chatting away. .
.

I try to teach my kids to think of others and pray for them just as much as they pray for themselves. As adults, we can get caught up in life and forget the people we told we'd be praying for them. Yes God knows their needs, but its important for us to acknowledge and think of them as well. .
.

But as we sat at the table and my kids said a prayer, I was amazed at my 3 year old who remembered and prayed for Eva so sweetly. "Dear Jesus, thank you for this food and please help Eva feel better, amen." The cutest little words for a girl she didnt even know. .
.

If you havent been following Eva's story I suggest you do because it's made a worldwide impact. The way her father and mother @lindsayletters.co and @dugansherbondy have gone through this immense trial is truly inspiring and constantly reinforces my faith. It's real, its raw, and it's how I hope to face any difficulty in my future.

I OUTGREW MY FPIES THROUGH BREAST MILK! Mom can eat normal again!⁣

I can help get in and out of my own car seat. I’ll even throw a fit and starfish so it’s a challenge.⁣
I love to dance and clap. I’m on round two of zumbini.⁣
I know how to safely get down from my mini couch.⁣
I will sit and let you read many books to me... back to back! I even try to help with the pages.⁣
I really enjoy bath time.⁣
I feed myself very well.⁣
I’ve got mamitis. ⁣
I went to Disney World (Animal Kingdom) for the first time!⁣ I met my Great Grandpa - he is the coolest. ⁣
I got a swing in the patio and I love to be in it. ⁣
I can teeth on celery for a long time! It’s mommy’s go-to to keep me entertained. ⁣
I can grab two items in the same hand and then juggle them back and fourth between both hands. ⁣
I crawl on all fours now! No more army crawling. ⁣
I won’t fight every diaper change if you sing during them. ⁣
I wave Hi on command. ⁣
My first meat is Mahi Mahi. ⁣
I started throwing full blown tantrums where I just arch back and throw my whole body weight into the earth when I don’t get my way.⁣⁣
I can blow kisses!! ⁣
I can stand unassisted for a sec and I started lifting one leg and balancing on the other so I can soon climb stuff. ⁣⁣
I drop my pacifier outside the crib on purpose so my parents will come back to the room ⁣⁣
Not only will I not stay in my big generous play area but I can find you anywhere in the house. ⁣

Qué increíble como se hizo tabú expresar nuestra vulnerabilidad...

Nos cuesta un montón decirle a la gente cómo nos sentimos por dentro. Puede ser que no se note por fuera, hacemos poker face, pero por dentro tal vez nos sentimos pésimo, estamos deprimidos, ansiosos, etc.
•
POR DIOOOOSSSS... todo mundo pasa por esto, y jugamos a que no nos pasa nada... por miedo a ser aislados, por temor a no vernos normales... •
Normales??? No tiene nada de anormal SENTIR. Hay emociones de todo tipo, buenas y malas. Uno no puede bloquear lo malo nada más. Si bloqueas las emociones malas bloqueas las buenas... una GRAN embarcada

Y osea, repito, todo mundo pasa por esto, en silencio. Sintiendose solos, super mierda.

Pero esto está cambiando (aleluya 👏👏🕊). Muchos están hartos de ocultar lo que sienten, lo que piensan, lo que les preocupa. Estamos soltando lo que tanto temíamos decir

Y lo mejor es que cuando un grupo de personas se reúne para hablar de lo que tienen adentro, se crea un espacio de tanta conexión, empatía, acompañamiento, sincronía... un montón de cosas lindísimas, jaja.

Simplemente nos damos cuenta de que no somos los únicos, no somos raros. NO ESTAMOS SOLOS
