  • PNYD

Some people might be more familiar with PCD. But after experiencing both. I would say PNYD is worse to get over, it takes longer. Now for the people who are unfamiliar with either of them, let me enlighten you.
PCD stands for: Post Concert Depression, it’s the feeling you get after experiencing a concert. You probably had the best time during the concert and enjoyed yourself. But all that’s good comes to an end and so does the concert. Maybe you feel alright and hyped for a few days after, but as time goes on, that feeling starts to fade. Eventually it gets even worse, the daily occupations get to you again and you wished you could go back. Where you could, just for a few hours, escape reality. You find yourself looking at pictures and videos taken at the concert and missing it intensively. You’re just really down. I present to you: Post Concert Depression. (Great provider of #PCD is @TaylorSwift also #HappyBirthdayTaylor ). Alright, back to the purpose of this way too long of a post, PNYD. Post New York Depression. It’s pretty self explanatory, but let me fill you in with a few personal details. First of, being there for a week was an absolute dream come true! I was a bit sacred I might had built it up too much in my head. But it exceeded my expectations in every way.
In my experience #NewYork is a place where you’re not being judged. New Yorkers are very focused on themselves and let you be/do you (boo). For example, doing a #wheelpose on many occasions and locations, no one looked up. Which is absolutely great, no pressure at all. It’s a place to leave your anxiety, rather than growing and developing it.

Sitting in a restaurant and overhearing a conversation at the table next to us. They are discussing #TaylorSwift and #Friends. I mean could they BE more perfect?! (Wink wink) As well as wearing a Taylor shirt and people just randomly complimenting you on it and asking if you saw her perform and asking what you think of her new album #Lover. Instead of having to defend yourself for liking her.
It was a blast see you in 2020! Anyways, here are some pictures of #what_i_saw_in_nyc

  • You should NEVER chase a sponsorship ...
.
A sponsorship from a company should not be your end goal. It shouldn’t be the reason you post on social media or to just get noticed. You should post WHAT you want with quality and to bring value...
.
A sponsorship, to me and how I feel it should be, is an opportunity to gain a family. Not free stuff. That should never be the goal. It shouldn’t be your main priority. Instead aim for bringing people quality..
.
You have to remember as well, a company isn’t just going to send you stuff for no reason. You need to provide value..
.
This is why I tell people who ask me not to get so lost and caught up in who they want to sponsor them or who they like more. Focus more on providing QUALITY content for people that highlights your assess and your passion..
.
You like to paint, show the world your stuff. You love books, do reviews! I see it TOO much that people just want to be noticed and get free stuff. Your passions should drive you, not the desire to be noticed. .
If I’m contacted by a company (which I’m not saying is A lot) I have to BELIEVE in their goals, vision, family and what they’ve built/building. This is how you should think..
.
STOP. CHASING. THAT. GOAL!!
.
Once you come to terms with this as well, I PROMISE you that you will start posting more of what you love and you’ll be much happier when someone appreciates your hard work!! My main goal is to bring value to people and help change their lives; nothing more. This is what drives me and keeps me on the path because I’m not focused on likes. Find your passion and spread it! If the opportunity presents itself, so be it, but DON’T lose sight of why you started posting in the first place!!
