Wherever you go, leave a trail of light 🚤💡
Say goodbye 👋🏻 to time-consuming post-processing and stacking with the “Live Composite” (LC) mode on the new Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III! 📷
Among the many live modes that come on the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III, LC is by far my favourite. Live composition creates a single image from multiple shots at regular intervals. These images are then stacked together, forming a single picture☝🏻
How does LC work? First, it takes a base image, similar to how we take normal photos. After the first exposure, the camera takes more pictures at intervals that you determine - ranging from 0.5 sec to 60 seconds. And here’s the magic of LC: only the changes in exposure (in other words, brighter pixels) are registered. Unlike normal long exposure techniques that risk overexposure and pictures that cannot be used, Olympus’ LC means that your final picture will not be overexposed at all!
With LC, enthusiasts and pros alike can explore long exposure photography without worrying about their end products being overexposed. Indeed, LC gives you - the photographer - more control over how you want your pictures to be taken. LC opens up an infinite array of creative possibilities, allowing you to take long exposures like light painting, boat trails, star trails, and fireworks easily and hassle-free!
The OM-D E-M5 Mark III will be available in late November 2019.

Have you heard others saying such things or have you said similar things in the past?🤷🏼 Depression, ADHD and OCD are terms that should not be used in contexts when it is not appropriate. Using these terms without understanding its significance and degree causes others to misuse them too. Without realising, people who do not face such issues still use them, causing issues such as those above to be seen as trivial problems😔

There's a direct bus from my place to here, took it for the first time and it would also be my last time😅... direct bus trip = abt 1hr 45mins...
Bus+train+bus= less than 45min.
A fun series juxtaposing images from India with similar ones from Singapore. There’s a bit of rustic in the India images and a pinch of sophistication in the Singapore ones. But deep down we are all the same.....
1. Men playing in a public place
2. The ponytail
3. Birds of a feather. The Singapore ones are stuffed 😀
4. Three mannequins
5. Colourful houses

It is a sculpture inspired by the industrial origins of Jurong, and is made from recycled iron reinforcement bars salvaged from old park pathways. The sculpture forms a feature point that punctuates the expanse of the grasslands.

Enjoy the space. It’s not just finding joy in the things that matter. It’s also finding joy in having some breathing room. Having some space. Not needing to keep doing, but to stop and just be. Just notice. Just breathe. Relax into it. Very few people actually allow themselves to do this, without needing to fill everything up with reading, watching, doing, responding, talking, moving, acting. Enjoy the empty space, as if it were just as important as all the rest.
I am impressed with the long exposure of the traffic light trails. Thanks to Nikon Team for helping me to do the manual settings:
First pic setting - ISO 100 / 8s / F22 AF-A
Second pic setting - ISO 100 / 16s / F15 AF-A
Did some adjustments due to the changes to nightfall lightings.
All pictures are taken by Z50 without filter, or edit and already looking good.
Yes! We’ve conquered Monday. The 3UBE team wishes everyone a great work week ahead.

Thanks to nikon team, instasg and Jonathan (ambassador to Nikon Z50 model) who conducted the photowalk on Sun 6-7:30 pm. I am able to try out the Z50 mirrorless camera with 16-50mm F3.5-6.3 collapsible standard zoom lens.
It is very versatile to shoot almost everything from scenery, food, portrait. The standard lens is built-in with image stabilisation. I am quite impressed with the clarity especially zooming to the farthest I can shoot.
All pictures are taken by Z50 without any filter and edit.
- First pic, tab on the LCD to auto-focus and shoot on the clock tower.
- Last pic, tab on the LCD to auto-focus and shoot on the moon.
- The rest are point and shoot on Auto mode

Adding another high profile person in my portfolio, Jeannie Mai
She is totally awesome and a blessing to work with. Totally love her vibe and character
Till the next photoshoot, Jeannie!
What do you think, guys?
Love cannot be measure, it is supposed to be unconditional.
Gift should not be measured either, it is the special thought behind it. This Christmas, send out gift with a Gratitude Heart to your Dear Friends, Family and Colleague by supporting Handmade Crafter.
This is a very unique gift as I am the only one who know how to make such candle in Singapore.
Very thankful that I have received another order in quantities. A customer has made an order of 6 Christmas Candles. These boxes are awaiting be the home of the 6 Candles.
As these are purely handmade by myself and can only perform 1 Candle Carving each time, thus limited quantities available per day. Please order early to avoid disappointment.
Thanks to nikon team, instasg and Jonathan (ambassador to Nikon Z50 model) who conducted the photowalk on Sun 6-7:30 pm. I am able to try out the Z50 mirrorless camera.
All pictures and video are taken by Z50 unfilter or unedit. Here's what I like about the camera:
1) Light weight and compact for every day use.
2) Love the handgrip feel and touch. One hand and fingers is enough to operate the twin control dial interface and setting.
3) Nikon has designed 16-50mm F3.5-6.3 collapsible standard zoom lens. It is very versatile to shoot almost everything from scenery, food, portrait. The standard lens is built-in with image stabilisation. I am quite impressed with the clarity and stability of 4K video. In this case a video clip of the moving trains. However, Instagram cannot display video in higher HD, therefore, I had converted to HD format. But the originally 4K video looks great when view on my laptop.
4) Nikon’s eye-detection autofocus is included, and you can toggle between different eyes if there are multiple people in frame.
5) I especially love the Touchscreen AF point-and-shoot.
- In the first pic, I had focused on a toy cow and quite impressed with the bokeh around it.
- Tap-to-track auto focus. In the video, I had tab on the train and it did track the moving train. It also auto track the face of moving person.
- It can also be used to select options in the 'i' function menu, and to navigate playback mode. I was able to expand the picture by dragging outwards with 2 fingers while playback.
Thanks to Nikon team, instasg and Jonathan (ambassador to Nikon Z50 model) who conducted the photowalk on Sun 6-7:30 pm using Nikon Z50, a mirrorless camera.
In the next few posts, I will review some of the features with photos taken by Z50 due to the limited timing. Wish I have more time to play with more features 😀. Here is a snapshot on Z50 camera:
- 20.9MP CMOS sensor
- Twin control dial interface
- Up to 11 fps shooting with AE/AF, 5 fps with live view
- 4K video at up to 30p
- 2.36M-dot OLED viewfinder
- Rear touchscreen tilts up by 90° or down by 180°
- Bluetooth-enabled Wi-Fi (via Snapbridge app)
- Creative Picture Control effects
Orchid was chosen as Singapore’s National Flower in April 1981, due to its vibrant colours, hardiness and resilience, as these are qualities that reflect the Singapore spirit. Its ability to bloom throughout the year was also a contributing factor.
The Singapore Botantic Gardens has registered more than 630 hybrids under their breeding programme which focuses on two major groups, dendrobium and vandaceous orchids.
