"What does traveling do to your relationship"?❤️ 🤔
I don't know about you... 🤔 But I think full time travel is the ultimate test to any relationship 😅... It can break it 😢 or make it rock solid❤️
The thing is that Martin and I are each others complete opposites😬😯 and we discovered this when we took a personality test years ago... and it made sense in so many ways.
"He is actually not trying to annoy me on purpose... 😂 And I not him😬🤔"
.. but now comes the hard part.. accepting each other's differences and maybe even seeing them as complementary.
Full-time travel can be demanding for a family at times. No space, very little private time and regularly being put outside your comfort zone which can bring out the worst in you🙃😬
So here's what we try:
TEAMWORK:
Talk it over. Set the egos aside, figure out who does what better and divide and conquer. 🙌😀 This lets us see each other's strengths so they are easier to appreciate ❤️
Then, when it doesn't work... Give that extra little support or hug, because we all have "those days" ♥️
COMPROMISE 😀
Even if you have very similar interests you probably still need to compromise a lot.😀 On restaurants on, destinations, on shopping...😀 Feel proud of the compromises, they are successs😍🙏

I woke up super early to avoid the crowd, and I was blessed with the perfect morning light and sky combination 🌤

If you’re in Ubud I highly recommend this early hike. It’s pretty easy, only around 1.5 hours to the top. The hike starts around 4am (just after a breakfast of banana pancakes and Bali coffee to prepare you), so the ascent is pitch black except for the glittery, twinkling night sky. It was so clear this morning we could see the background noise of the Milky Way, Orion’s Belt looked really special, and I saw a little satellite!
On the way down is a bit of a different story; the volcanic rock is really slippery so I basically skated my way down 😂 By 10am we were home, and by 1pm I was in a deep, dreamless comatose-style sleep 💤

Ayuttaya has some of the most impressive temples and ruins I have ever seen!
Located only an hour from Bangkok it‘s very easy to reach. So definitely worth a visit!
